We have looked effective but not really troubled their keeper.

It's as if we don't know how to strike a ball cleanly

Grimmer did well at the start with a last ditch tackle.

For anyone thinking of attending a City game soon but first watching these weekly threads .,.......it's a huge negative turn off. Rarely many positive comments.
The tea's good and much needed.

His off the ball work in covering back is awful

Are you here
Watching, not there. He's having to do 60 yard runs to support the attack and repeat it to get back. Both defences are sitting deep out of possession and he's having to do the running for 2 in the middle. It's not sustainable for 90 mins which is what is giving the impression of him drifting in and out of games this season. Fear for the 2nd half if we don't get an early goal - when he get's knackered we'll be pinned in our own box for the rest of the match again as we have been for the last 3 league games.

Poor half. Yes they are good team and have a good away record but too many are Having poor games - Doyle, Hiwula, Chaplin, JCH, grimmer and bayliss have all been poor

Hiwula offers nothing, Chaplin is devoid of confidence and quality.
Thank god we have Doyle, the glue that holds us together.

Very enjoyable first half, can’t believe some of the negative comments on here. Ref poor though, but not the worst we’ve had. Would help if he was familiar with the laws of the game.
At least he didn’t give Chaplin a red for his kick-out.
1 minute of extra time? We’ve changed the ball four times!

Slightly better team first half without really troubling them. Baylis looks superb until 30yds out then passing and shooting goes awry. Hiwula’s tricks might be worth trying in the box but not In our half.
Worry that pboro haven’t got into 3rd gear yet. Hopefully won’t spend this half camped on edge of our own 18yd lime.

Again, our final ball has let us down too much. Again, too much play having to go through Doyle. Again, Hiwula scuffing chances he should be doing better with. Again, Burge being called up on much more than the opposition keeper.
We seem to go to shit, overhit or underhit passes.

Hiwula keeps sprinting back to our goal as fast as he can, then when he gets it he can't control it.

You could say the same about Peterboro' tbf. That's the sort of game this is.

I agree with the point re Bayliss getting tired. It’s massively evident when he doesn’t play/is tired/off form, as we suddenly lose all attacking drive through the middle.

He’s been poor today by his standards, but hes still a threat and helps us avoid playing a back
six.
