Before this turns into the inevitable Wasps v SISU v Council debate, I don’t really care who is blame (as they all are), but they all need to look past their egos, negotiating tactics and whatever other politics are going on in the background and realise the severity of their respective actions.

It's an alarming but necessary move by the EFL I think and about time there was some strong intervention of this scale.
In an ideal world this will hopefully force a few hands and all parties will blast through whatever barriers are there to get a deal done for the good of this club and it's people.

Very true Nick. Saying that, they do tend to make it up as they go along on most occasions. I recall when we came back from Northampton, the club were tasked with providing clarity on where they intended to build their ‘new ground’ within a fixed timescale.
Their initial demands appeared to have been forgotten about.
With no date set for the Supreme Court hearing, I fear that this threat will soon become a devastating reality.

IMO it's actually got to the point where for many of those who find themselves under the Wasps/Council banner/s would rather the club go under if it meant they were rid of SISU. Sentimentality associated with the club and the city got thrown out of the window years ago.

It is CCFC that are pushing the statements out to the media saying that it can only be in Coventry, the EFL statement doesn't mention that.
I think the new ground thing wasn't a requirement when we moved back from Northampton, it was something they required while we were away.
If this is CCFC trying to put pressure on Wasps / CCC then it hasn't worked because it just gets everybody fired up about SISU, unless it's their indirect way of putting pressure on SISU?

I would definitely pay to watch a bayonet charge by all involved on Gosford Green. That would be well worth watching.
Back to reality, I think something will move very soon. The club have sort of lined up Nuneaton as a back up in case wasps do stick to their guns but I cant really see wasps wanting the bad publicity and stigma of forcing the football club out of the City.

Would it not be possible as a very short term solution to play home games behind closed doors in Nuneaton? That way, the club stays alive and the fact that the ground isn't up to league standards is irrelevant.
