It's not really intervention
Call it what you want but my point is that it is necessary to force some kind of move
Before this turns into the inevitable Wasps v SISU v Council debate, I don’t really care who is blame (as they all are), but they all need to look past their egos, negotiating tactics and whatever other politics are going on in the background and realise the severity of their respective actions.
The football club is bigger than all the parties involved, and means more to the City too; they need to realise that.
I agree at least it might break this WW1 stalemate all parties currently find themselves in.
Having a step back...
It is CCFC that are pushing the statements out to the media saying that it can only be in Coventry, the EFL statement doesn't mention that.
I think the new ground thing wasn't a requirement when we moved back from Northampton, it was something they required while we were away.
If this is CCFC trying to put pressure on Wasps / CCC then it hasn't worked because it just gets everybody fired up about SISU, unless it's their indirect way of putting pressure on SISU?
Out of interest, what are everyones contingency plans for Saturday afternoon if we do get expelled?
I get the feeling your last question is what it’s doing!
