Any ideas anyone? We have to act quickly as there are only 4 home games left if we do anything at those and one is after the EFL decision date. We need to capitalise on the momentum from today.

Issue a statement that the sky blue trust urge all people in Coventry to boycott every wasps game unless they give the club a new deal. Get this message on as many media outlets as possible
Is that a response to Grendel's suggestion? We keep being told “less talk more action”. I agree with this approach so I think we need to be more direct. Stuff like today. A march before maybe too. Everything would have to be lawful and respectful of traditions (e.g. be quiet during kicks). If cost is an issue we need to try to get hold of some of these free tickets. If someone can point me in the right direction on that it’d be useful.

To start with, Every piece of action/protest/stance should include a banner or 5 along the lines of (very quick thinking here) "wasps don't contribute to our death" All action so far has only seen SISU out etc....We keep being told “less talk more action”. Exactly, it just needs to start with this. Something similar to the council.Open letter telling them it is unacceptable for them not to be talking. Remind them of the power we have as city fans. Be polite. Give a date a response is expected by and that it must be publishable. If no response go back with instances of direct action you’ll put forward against them. Open letter telling them to come to the table needs to go tomorrow.

Most wasps fans probably hate football so wouldn’t care about the football club.I thought flyering their games was a rather good idea for on-the-ground action. Whilst it’s important to look at the top-level, I think if there was an emphasis on the revenue generators (i.e. fans, sponsors, etc) that may make them re-think.

100% agree with this.Wasps will talk about a deal if SISU drop the legal action against them. They’ve said this all along.
Why should they show weakness and say “oh alright then you can carry on despite you wanting to sue the ass off us all the time”
1) Condemn Wasps presence in Coventry. Franchising should not be accepted or courted.
Bring in the Council’s pledge that their presence must not be detrimental to the football team or native rugby team
The mere threat of a large group of city fans getting into the ground on freebies could mean that the practice stops until the end of the season.
The council can’t be missed, no matter how much they’ve dressed it up, they said the above. Maybe even add “what stops them lying at election time?”Exactly, that point needs to be played on and confirmation about what it actually was. They have both contradicted but nobody has mentioned it.
It doesn't always have to be standing and shouting things, you can still pick things apart and pressure them.
Talks for example of going to wasps games and invading the pitch our frankly embarassing
Sure there'd be some who may pause and think, and if their finances are precarious, it might just make a difference.I'm not too sure their fans would be that arsed or if they would suddenly not go because of us though.
So I'd make the noise first, *then* call for a boycott after.I'd also contribute to a banner to be taken into wasps games.
Also, having stated i would never set foot in the Ricoh to watch them, I would, on thos occasion, if organised properly, go against that to protest against what Wasps (and the council) are doing.
Nobody is suggesting pitch invasions. We just want positive - Pro CCFC action. We want Wasps and the council to see what a football team brings to the areaPerhaps staying the obvious but it needs to be professional.
Talks for example of going to wasps games and invading the pitch our frankly embarassing....we don't want Wasps to be make out they are victim in anyway.
And put in - if wasps kick us out at the start of this. Link Wasps to Upset children, it would be a PR nightmareHow about a message with a video? Get children involved saying how much they love to watch us etc (appeal to the human rather than business side....."we understand the issues with SISU however it's people like this that will suffer"

FWIW I kind of agree with Grendel, but I also agree with this:

You wouldn't get a total boycott, probably wouldn't even get much but... there'll definitely be some who support both CCFC and go to Wasps games. If they stop going to Wasps games, it could well have an effect on their finances sufficient to cause concern, given they're trying to embed themselves (it's a very different scenario to when we went to Sixfields, where cash through the door was pretty irrelevant).Yeah but how many Wasps fans would? I wouldn't expect a genuine Wasps fan who has supported all of their life to give a shit or stop going.
In that case, the target market would be the new found ones from Coventry wouldn't it?
I think they just need to know they can't get away with taking the piss either.
