Personally think that's asking far too much given their age and lack of experience.

Don't see why not, most have played some form of competitive football, even if it's been at a lower level and will have been with the club and around the first team for a good period of time. Obviously not all of them will make it but I would expect a good proportion of them to.

Who has? Allassani was playing in a division three leagues below League One, Williams, Wakefield or Bremang hadn't played a senior game prior to coming to CCFC and Drysale and Walters barely have 10 senior apps between them. I'm all for giving them a chance next season but to throw them into the deep end right from the off and expect them to have a significant role in the squad is asking far too much in my eyes.

Well they were in dispute with them about outstanding debts. From the club's official site in 2004 responding to rumours of administration -
"The situation remains exactly the same as it did when the Club approached the Council some two years ago.

The debt on the Trent End is guaranteed by Nottingham City Council and ranks behind other lenders to the Club. The Club continues to trade well and make good progress with the repayment of its debt."

Maybe their council gave them some leeway and supported them. Cos now -

Councillor Jon Collins, Leader of Nottingham City Council, said: “This is important news for the city and we were happy to work with Nottingham Forest to help make it happen.

“We’re lucky enough to have a rich sporting heritage in the city. This redevelopment will enable Forest, with an eye on hosting major fixtures into the future, to modernise and improve their stadium by creating world-class facilities to be enjoyed by the people of the city.

Imagine that, a year of talks which your city's most famous football club set against a couple of weeks with an out of town rugby club. Interesting to see the difference in approach.
