I reckon Bristol will get around 5 points 1 win 2 draws and a loss

That means we will need to win 3 out of 4 which will be to much

Birmingham will do well to win against Bristol twice in a row. Need 3 wins minimum

Burnley becomes the next win game.

With them having nothing to play for, who knows....

Bristol will not end up on 49 points. Pretty sure of that.

They have been awful. Lucky on Saturday and we didn't turn up today. Think they will still struggle.

No, its not over, that's not maths. Its making stuff up. There's nothing like backing your team through thick and thin. And that's nothing like...

You sound like that BCFC idiot.

Alright fellas, I won't gloat as I know exactly how you are feeling.
I reckon my lot will beat Barnsley so you have to win at Burnley or at Saints IMO plus win both your home games.

It is over, the delicate players have 2 games in 4 games, excuses galore from AT.

The draw with Posh on Sat was the nail in the coffin this easter rather than today.

We need 3 points from that game as a buffer from today's result.

SouthamptonvCoventry = COV LOSE

Total = 7 points

BirminghamvBristol City = BRUM WIN
Bristol CityvWest Ham = HAMMERS WIN

Why are you only looking at Bristol? We have Millwall still to play and they're far from out of it.

It is the longest of shots to catch Milwall now, going to need a lot to go our way if we are too catch them starting with there game vs Pompy. If Millwall win that they will be to far ahead.

Portsmouth and Doncaster I think are going down. Millwall have a game in hand aswell as being above us; so there out of the relegation battle. Bristol only have to get 6 points and there basically away from our grasp.

Pompey are scrapping, Millwall are five points ahead of us, we still have them to play. We win and that's only ywo points. Assuming that they don't beat Pompey, then we have a more realistic chance of catching them. They are not in great form and have been in freefall for some time.

People seem to be forgetting the lessons of today.
WE DO NOT HAVE A SQUAD THAT CAN COMPETE.
Today we had several passengers, we struggle to last 90 mins, two games in as many days is beyond us.
We're down, get over it.

You just can't predict the last few games of the season, there are always shocks where the teams who are scrapping beat the promotion contenders at this stage of the season. This is Coventry City and if we are going to escape relegation we are going to do it the only way we know how - by winning as underdogs against all odds on the last game of the season.

Who really thought deep down that we'd get 6 points from Peterborough and Bristol City and we'd be going into the last game safe and sound? If we are going into St. Mary's last game of the season as a must win game for a chance of survival then expect the unexpected is all I will say.

The older ones of us will remember the season when we were about down and out. Couldn't get a win whatever. We needed to win our last 3 hard games. We won them.

As a team in the bottom 3, I'd more than happily take the last results as p4 w2 d1 l1, giving us 7 points

Will that be enough :)

Oh, and will we get that ?

I think we will get 4 more points, a win v millwall, ad a draw v donny....,,

How poor were the Bristol goals from the defence.

First a man gets free from a corner and Stead flicks it in with 2 players marking him

2nd goal Christie dives in and 3 players on the line all fail to clear it

3rd goal a throw goes past 3 players we fail to win the tackle, Cranie sort of half tackles and kicks the ball straight to Wood

Not mathematically down. I can't see Bristol taking anything from Birmingham or West Ham. Not being funny, just can't.

If we can take a draw from the weekend's game and beat Millwall at home, then we're above them in the table heading into the Doncaster game.

If we beat a relegated Doncaster team, and they Barnsley; it's all down to the final game of the season. It'll be like Charlton all over again.....

Not saying we'll do it. Just saying its not yet over

Whats with this Bristol thing? There is Rovers and City. Do you call the Sheffield or Manchester teams by just their first name?

We must respect Rovers you know; there are two teams in the fair city.

Surely you can forgive me forgetting that Rovers even still exist?

Seriously, they're not in our division (yet!) and the truncated form of your title kinda works for us lazy ones

I know it's difficult, given the table, but keep the faith until the maths tell you it's impossible.
We are CCFC - if any team can get out of this mess it's the Sky Blues.
Two positives: our next two fixtures are easier on paper than Brizzles (inc one against another team we have an outside shot of dragging into this mess) and we have a better goal difference than Brizzle. It might turn on that.
Fight 'til the game is won!

Slightly different, the season was over for all the other teams in the league. Stoke and Luton had nothing to play for and Everton were so not interested I'm surprised 11 players showed up.

Remaining Matches

There's just one thing to do for the remainder of the season - play with heart, belief and like your arse is on fire. Play to win, forget all other possibilities and just fucking WIN!
