3 points could go a long way to help make Walsall safe, and as much as I'd amuse at them going down, I'd much rather them tale points off of Peterborough, they have Pompey up next so a loss for them today and a win for us tomorrow puts us in the driving seat of our own destiny for next Saturday evening. A draw for them today and we'd be level on points, and they have a slightly better goal difference than we do. Could really do with back to back losses for them.

The stars could be starting to align - Oxford are on a superb run of form and are in a position of safety so will be fairly relaxed for this final home game of their season and should play with a degree of freedom whereas Doncaster are having a blip as they did earlier in the season and will be tense knowing they really need a result. With my Sky Blue glasses on I think this result has every possibility to go our way although I fear a draw might result.
The Walsall v Peterborough game fills me with more fear though - Walsall cannot seem to get it together at all and my hope is that they somehow seize on the fact that this is a win or bust moment and give their home crowd something to cling onto. Peterborough represent our biggest threat in my opinion today, although Shrewsbury on Sunday could easily ruin everything regardless of results today. However - as Will-i-am would say “I’ve got a feeling - that tonight is going to be a good night”!

Hope I’m wrong, can’t see anything but a pboro win at Walsall today. Either way they’ll beat Burton at home last day of the season, Burton have nothing to play for.

Losses for Wimbledon and Scunthorpe would make Shrewsbury safe.

Does that mean they would be easier to beat, or that they can relax, play without fear and put on a performance?

Can't believe that on Monday I was convinced the play off challenge was over but was still happy with the way the season had gone but today as I'm trying to get on with a bit of DIY the butterflies are starting and I'm convinced I'll be going to a game tomorrow with huge significance - what a time to be a City supporter.

But if they loose today and loose to Portsmouth, burton match will not matter

Ideally we want Peterborough behind us in the table going into the last game (if it goes to a last day shoot out with us and Doncaster), as I think Burton will already be on the beach by then.

Don’t know if my heart could take both games going our way today , Doncaster fans would fear the worst surely with our recent away form being pretty damn good , don’t even want to look at my phone until 5pm ,
Otherwise il do it obsessively for the whole match

Totally agree, I’ve never been so nervously excited for a couple of games that don’t involve the City!
