Bayliss is probably friends with Hickman and the other lads he played U23s and U18s with... If Bayliss leaves, it’s unrelated in my view.

Absolutely, like I say - not sticking up for him. I can, however, imagine being young, wasted and just not thinking.

Unfortunately these days someone sticks a camera in your face and everyone else finds out what a dick you’ve been.

I do wonder if he’s been told he’s no longer wanted (hence the fuck Cov bit and the general lack of shits given). Anyone know? Is he still under contract?

Still has another year and the club have the option of another year after that.

If he has been told he is no longer wanted i can see where he comes from as he has just lost his job and feels bitter, BUT the released list was published and he was not on it.

He looks like he’s recording himself tbh. Silly thing to do really, echo someone else’s comments about the problems surrounding young people and social media - bad mix.

My concern is that he doesn’t mean Tom Bayliss will be on 10 bags (in £ terms) in 3 days but 10 bags of ..... in 3 days. Hope that’s not true otherwise he’s going to be strung up by the bollocks by all involved in his career. His agent for one will not be best pleased either way.

Meh, young, stupid and drunk. He’s been wound up by something and got it off his chest. Stupid to do it through social media, but that’s what kids turn to now, so I’m not surprised. If he apologises then it’s water under the bridge.

Yeah, he has. However, I know what I can be like when I’m drunk... especially when I was younger! The absolute horror and embarrassment of remembering something and then apologising profusely for it. If he’d kicked a granny or murdered someone I’d agree, but he said a few nasty words while drunk. Not trying to change your mind, you have your opinion, I respect that. Think I’m probably just more used to stupid outbursts than you!

Kid needs to clean up though - not a good look.

I don't see how it can be water under the bridge unfortunately.

He represents the club and needs his contract ripping up.

I'm sure all clubs advise and warn all their young players about their behaviour in social situations and about not putting stuff up like on this social media for all to see.

Bayliss will do well to distance himself from this, he has way too much to lose. As for Hickman he looks off his nut and will be lucky to be at the club for much longer.

If he has been using and they suspect he has I should think it’s more of “get yourself a new club or be dismissed”
