Would love to see the whole video. We are now in Birmingham, want to hear her plan to get us back to Coventry ASAP, not heard it so far in the current sound bites released

What do people make of this from Gilbert... asked about CCC and pr firm...their statement to sky denying it and saying it was ACL who are independent from the council....

What I don’t understand is why she hadn’t spoken before. Even if there is a big element of smoke and mirrors at least she plays the part well and can look concerned and earnest

Unlike Tim Fisher who seemed to revel in pantomime villianary
I think she’s now talking as shit has really
Hit the fan G...desperate times call for desperate measures

Weren't they using council email addresses also?
I was not as "read" on things back then. But that surely needs to be reminded to Gilbert? His skirting round my questions is interesting.... councils respones on Sky have prompted the questions...

If you look at the emails in the council ethics report they take about going after Sepalla and SISU, even talking about doorstepping her. Webber Shandwick copy in council email addresses, why would they do that if the council had no involvement?

She couldn't even say I am sorry she had to say we who are we.
Sorry but cant forgive her for being the instigator of many years of grief.
All I ever wanted was to go watch my team in peace without all this shit.

Maybe just maybe we will be able to come on this site and just talk football and just argue about who's fault that 92nd minute goal was.
A well we can all dream.

Thanks to her and many others it is now gossip over which released Championship has been can we persuade to join and can he do it on a cold night in Accrington. Pisses me off that a white knight arrives for everyone else in the end and it eventually gets back to football

The recent press releases and now this interview have just made me wonder again that if they had just COMMUNICATED from the beginning - when Ranson left, the Sixfields debacle, administration...could they have saved themselves a little. They have made bad, misjudged decisions all the way along but if they had tried to speak about the reasons and the next steps more people may have been willing to not necessarily agree with them but at least listen. This is all very, very late in the offing.
What I said back in the day. A bit of explanation could have got people on board? Instead it has been calamity after calamity? Now you think why now? Why would I trust anything she says?

Could it be that since June 10th Joy Sepalla has become the sole director of SISU Capital Limited and this enabled her to become more open without the restrictions. To be fair she has been criticised for not speaking publicly yet some are now criticising her for doing so. Let's just hope this is the start of more openness from SISU. She has done more to inform us of events in one interview than Tim Fisher has done in 4 years !

Yes fair play for the interview. But after 12 years of opportunity it is not suprising people are sceptical or even scathing. It is not like we have been treading water for 12 years.

That potential we have was a lot closer 12 yeard ago than it is now.

So unless she starts doing regular interviews I am not going to swallow this one whole.

So after 12 years TWELVE.... Joy speaks. Yes the council are going to win 1st prize for being the biggest arseholes ..... but Joy can just jog on. No sympathy.

When she did the meeting with fans at Christ the King back in 2014 ( i was one of them) we told her then she needed to speak to the fans. its something she definitely should have done 5 years ago, This was pre return and pre wasps......

This has happened for a reason as well not sure what that reason is yet but it isnt just a ok now lets do an interview.

She was clearly influenced by the Ricoh 21...

It was 5 years ago so memory wise its pretty sketchy, hat i remember is she is a really good speaker though she says what u want or says what she thinks you want to hear is another matter, but she should definitely have done it before today. That was a time as well when the council leader wouldn't talk to the club at all due to the company in administration.... or im guessing the excuse for not being able to talk.

Operation mislead is on

It’s just so obvious now. Nobody can possibly be so stupid they can’t see that the football club, or OEG if you want to call it that, and SISU are separate entities.

Same people will be arguing CCC had nothing to do with the PR, that was all ACL.

Does somebody who was in charge of Coventry Council and helped write a 12,000 word article with David Johnson really not know that or are they trying to mislead?

Apparently a 10 minute one at half 9.

Although it may just be the 3 from today put together.

Joking aside from my earlier post...

I honestly wish Joy Sepella spoke earlier and a lot more regular to the fans during SISU's tenure. Already I feel a better connection, even with a three minute video
We may not always like what we hear but we would much rather that than faceless owners.

It sounds like a portion of our fans have been complete and utter arseholes attacking her home, that is simply disgusting.

I feel for SISU a little as they have been shafted by both CCC and Wasps, however they cannot be excused for being poor owners overall.

Perhaps this is a chance for them to redeem themselves. Back Robins, get back to the Championship and possibly sell up and you can say that will suit all parties. The sticking point is obviously the stadium and unfortunately with either Wasps or SISU as they are now I can't see us back at the Ricoh unless Wasps are really fucking desperate.

This could get very interesting, there's more that meets the eye to this interview.
