Has a bit of pace about him, gets on the end of a lot of taps in by the look of his goals last season for Mansfield.

No idea on all round play but his L2 chance created stats were top 5 last season I think I read somewhere. Not sure if that were for a small period or the season as a whole but gives you a little idea of what you can expect.

I get your scepticism, I'm normally the same, but he's told me things in the past in private, before they've been rumours on twitter or elsewhere, that did come to fruition (Sterling last year).

There was a rumour I linked dating well before that which linked him to is, Portsmouth and Sunderland

The real point is you’ve not 100% confirmed it even though you said it was agreed weeks ago and never to my knowledge had a clue Chaplin was leaving

And I've never once claimed to have some all seeing inside knowledge. I didn't hear about Allen coming in either. When I said we were after Kyle Edwards that didn't come to fruition either. (But we were after him)

I find it odd that you didn’t know Chaplin was leaving as there is no way we’d be signing Walker if we hadn’t sold him would we?

You’d also be much more aware if the situation regarding bright and I’m not aware you used the word U23 did you regarding the midfielder?

I haven't heard anything about Walker but that's not to say it's not happening, I just haven;t heard
Some weeks back it looked like Enokbakhare was a strong possibility but I think money may be the deciding factor there
Perhaps there was too much speculation about him and another club has tried to gazump us?

Judging by the amount of crosses Jobello puts in, we desperately need someone to get on the end of them. Walker seems to get quite a few headed goals. Looks ideal.
