They should let anybody in and reserve the right to revoke membership based on certain conditions. If Moz joined and was no trouble then fine but if his attendance caused issues they could have kicked him out with legitimate reasons. I'm more anti-trust than most but this was a poor decision.

It's so he can vacuum up the "are you alright, babe?" comments.

No surprise there. Did it really need Moz to broadcast this on social media rather than deal with it in private?

Pat who does the family zone is now saying she cannot join.
No, I don't think she is. She is already a member by the looks of it and is saying - I think - that is Moz can't join then she should be chucked out as she used to be on the Trust board when it was first set up.

which just shows they've made the rules up as they go along and are tying themselves in knots.

It's embarrassing for them. If they have to throw Pat out they're going to look fucking stupid and piss of a lot of people, if they don't throw her out it looks like they made up a rule to expel Moz, no matter your opinion of the Trust or Moz Torch surely you can see what a ridiculous situation this is?

Am I missing something? When did they want the club to die?
Key member David Johnson was distraught when the football league let us play at St Andrews and was previously happy for the club to go bust in order to return to the Ricoh as a Phoenix club.

The trust have since voted this man to a key position.

They’re all only in it for themselves and are more than happy to see the club suffer to further their own warped agenda

The trust are vermin

Let's be honest, banning Moz Baker is probably more in line with fans views than anything Moz Baker actually did with the Trust... Weird that really
I doubt that. The opinions expressed by a lot of people on here are not the opinions of a lot of fans who either go to St Andrews or who have chosen not to.
Mom Baker always comes across as a really genuine person, agree or disagree with him. He is certainly a City fan, home and away who would want only the best for the team. He was also one of the twenty one of us who turned up at the last Wasps match to register a protest at their decision to exclude us from the Ricoh.
This is a really divisive thing to do. Even though this is probably the closest club for me to join, I think I will stick with the L and W group. (I know the Leamington, Nuneaton and Southam groups are affiliated with each other. Are they affiliated with this group too?)

Yes that’s what she’s saying

Just read all this and seen it in Twitter.
I agree that the trust are toothless at best, damaging at worst.
But there has never been a time where a united group of supporters is more crucial.
Don’t know anything about Moz Baker, but surely letting him join the supporters club gives members an opportunity to express to him (and like minded others) why the simplistic ‘Sisu bad / council + Wasps good” narrative has compounded the pot of shit we find ourselves in, and let certain people off the hook

Moz is not on the Trust board anymore. I can’t speak for the current board, but the people on it before were ordinary fans who cared about the club. They certainly weren’t vermin. As for being in it for themselves, I’m not sure what they get out of it apart from abuse or aggro.
Interesting that the lady who did actually say she would liquidate the club if she didn’t get her own way and who certainly has the power to do it isn’t seen by a lot on here in the same light as a group of fellow fans who wanted what was best for the club. (Not talking about the current board here)

What’s the purpose of this supporters club anyway? Hope they don’t complain about division amongst the fan base after this...

Tim Kalns was on the board wasn’t he when Moz was running it? Jan is now a fully fledged wasps fan isn’t he?

In my opinion, letting the Kalns and Johnson's of this world get so involved with the trust was/Is a huge mistake.
That doesn't mean the likes of Moz wish the club harm because I don't believe thats true, in the case of certain individuals I know personally, I can state it definitely isn't but they've definitely let some wrong uns become too influential.

Seems a bit double standards to me that comment. The Trust (quite rightly) and also Moz as an individual have been taken to task hundreds if not thousands of times on social media, now when he puts a tweet out there calling out the lanyard brigade, he gets this response. You really couldn’t make it up.....

The reality is the trust has been mainly focused on regime change or bust since the moronic decision to allow a politician at its helm its long ceased to be representative of the fans

It changed massively and has never come back

The trust are now retweeting people having a go. Their social media person is terrible. Bang a tweet out that says something like ‘The SBT understands former chairman Moz Baker was rejected by the new supporters club. We urge them to reassess their decision as Moz is a passionate city fan like the others in that group’.

Banning Moz is divisive and now the trust are countering that by being divisive. It’s pathetic all round. People making lanyard jokes are the first to defend trust members from needless attacks. It’s all a load of bullshit.

Nice to see wasps Jan and Simon are on the case and outraged - at least jan can stop thinking about wasps for 5 minutes

More supporter division. Just what we need..

Only from a few on Twitter and Facebook. Most won't give a fuck. I don't care if Moz gets into the Club or not. I can sympathise with the new Supporters Club as Moz has been in charge of the biggest, most divisive Trust and at the end of the day, they let in who they want to.

Some fans frothing at the mouth as if Moz is something special. He's not, he's no more special than any other Coventry City fan. Doesn't every club "reserve the right to refuse membership". Nothing to see here. Roll on the Wimbledon game.

Complete mess. A club with about 4,000 fans going to a “home” game tomorrow night and those that run supporter groups can’t even agree on who can join, if any.

This would have had a line drawn under it if it was at primary school
