Don’t worry mate they won’t be here much longer!
If you read what Old Sky Blue has to say on their finances, the outlook isn’t that positive as it doesn’t sound like they are about to keel over any time soon unfortunately. Falling gates and losing performances won’t help them so long may that continue.

2k in main stand absolute max....
When we had a couple of FA Cup games against non league sides a few years back and only the main stand open, it was pretty much full (lower bit) and our attendances were around 2k if I recall correctly.... not a cat in hells chance there are another 10k in the rest of the ground looking at pics floating around. I'd say, looking at pictures, actual attendance was around 6k.... 7 at a push.
Not sure where 12.5k comes from...

If that is true that’s sickening pathetic on wasps and pure desperation.

Why don’t they be done with it and get down Tesco cannon park and wait till 9pm when the grubs discounted and entice a few foreign students while there at at?

Even if Wasps go pop I don't see us playing at the Ricoh. If they do go pop the free hold reverts back to the cuntcil (Is that spelt right?) and I don't think they will ever hand the keys over to Joy.

Yes you spelt it correctly. However wait for a couple on here watching in to correct you (and me)!

It does give us more hope than currently, however.

It's true, they were giving them to Kenilworth half marathon runners a few weeks back. About 3000 people ran that day.

It may well be 12k, but that is nowhere near enough for a rugby side who play far less games than a football team.

First game of the season at a stage where rugby is in the spotlight due to the world Cup, that crowd must be concerning for them.

Have you seen any photos? I'm not having AT ALL that 12k were there. Personally, I dont think there was any more than 7-8k there. Were 5k people all in the toilets at exactly the se time?

That might explain it
They may count every ticket they gave away as part of the total attendance
Arsenal's stadium often had thousands of empty seats last season but they always said it was a full house as season tickets are counted whether they turn up or not

Difference is, the council have a benefit to having Coventry city return. Whilst the freehold won’t change hands - we can pressure the council for a reasonable rental deal and SISU will have no option but to accept. If they didn’t then we revert pressure and protest back to SISU

Counting season tickets even if they don't turn up I can understand as its a paid for ticket. Giving away 3K tickets to people who ran a race and have expressed no interest in attending a game and then adding them all to the attendance is a bit of a farce.

There were a number of runners who gave up their place (despite paying up) after finding out Wasps were all over that half marathon.

You are right about the self important tossers giving it plenty around the arena with their season tickets in their lanyard like they're vips... villainous insect pricks!
