On Xmas day last year we were 14th and 18 points off the autos. This Xmas day we will be in the play offs and 2 points off autos. THIS IS NOT ENOUGH PROGRESS FOR ME *angry face emoji* Warm up that taxi and GET REXIT DONE.

To be fair, won't really be any further than 6 points off autos

And could be 1 point ahead of 12th if teams win games in hand

The funny thing is the dimwit who posted this rather lame parody has actually proven the point that I was making

Not that he will be able to figure out the irony himself of course

We are at a crucial point
A double header v Wycombe over the next month is crucial
6 points from them while unlikely may make us title favourites
Less than 3 and some other mediocre results would put us nearer to mid table
The goals for column is crucial

It is a very poor league however and we are certainly at the minute one of the best 6 teams in it

Why is it better mainly?

(Mainly) because we won't/can't be as low as 14th, and won't be 18 points off the auto's - therefore it will be better than last year.

Also, the original post stated the position as of Christmas Day, which remains 100% accurate.

Instead of indulging in childish name-calling, why not accept that, just sometimes, others might be right?

It’s better though because of the fact there are no runaway teams this season versus last.

In a normal season the automatic places would have much higher points than second now

This means that it’s a vital season and surely questions need to be asked why we persist with a negative rigid formation each week and oddly sell non scoring strikers who suddenly score when sold and sign a striker like Godden who now doesn’t score?

Shrewsbury are far nearer this season to promotion than last as well. As are about 8 other teams.

So again it proves my point and kit the opposite doesn’t it?

Title favourites? What are you on? We haven’t won away in the league since April, if the league is ‘very poor’ what does it say about us?

Robins has made some poor decisions selection wise at times and the failure to bring in a decent forward is questionable. They are the only negatives I can see though.
He has a very young squad who battle harder than any team I remember in recent memory.

Either way we look at this, a decent run and we will springboard into a very good position.. Lets hope we can do something over the next 4 /5 weeks

I wish I could give this a double like - laughing out loud!

Robin's is doing far more right than he is wrong. It's just immensely frustrating it's the same things he keeps getting wrong despite recognising them in post-match interviews and that our big problem position is the one you'd expect him to be the bet at resolving as it was his position.

It doesn’t help that two of the strikers he’s sold in Clark-Harris and Chaplin have been doing really well

Makes you think he can’t coach strikers being one himself playing under Fergie etc I think making the same mistakes refusing to make subs is what gets on peoples titts mate let’s hope jan we can get someone in who can hit the ground running im confident he will but then I’m worried he will use them right wing or try play a midget in the lone role or a known striker as a number 10

Can on;y be 5 points off the autos at worst, so still a big improvement?

Only because it’s a more wide open league we’d be 7 points off last season if the second team has the same as Ipswich

One win, and a few more makes us title favs, one lose, and a few more and robins should go.

The swing continues

absolutely and of course he will. then he'll desperately hope we get relegated next season.

I really think a Readers Digest forum would perhaps suit you better

I just think anyone saying Robins out is being ridiculous.
Not one person has named a manager we could get as a replacement. Maybe we could get Thorn or Slade back

I haven’t said it but asking for replacement naming is also pointless

I haven’t said it ........

Really? Let's just replay what you wrote last week:

'The taxi is warming up and needs to be heading to Birmingham unless a change of approach and personnel is adopted soon.'

Sounds to me that you think if we have a couple of defeats on the bounce that Robins should go - that's absolute ridiculous (even by your incredible standards) and reactionary given all that Robins has achieved for us.

So I didn’t say it and as for reactionary - football is a live for the now not the past old chap

I really think you should find something positive about the club you support and stop wishing deep down for us to get beaten - or alternatively fcuk off.

If I want us to get beaten I’d want tripe like Bakayoko playing wouldn’t I?

You have zero comprehension skills

'Stop being negative about everything Grendel and abusing your own players'

Grendel's response: '......tripe like Bakayoko.....'

Says it all.
