Godden and Walsh are stand out players. Godden tends to score goals in clusters and could go on a run now.

O hare was the stand out sun. Key for the second goal and the penalty

Not sure if it’s good or not there isn’t a league game Saturday

Were either of Godden's hat-tricks 'golden'?
That's one right-footed, one left-footed and one header.

Great way to start the New year! Had to weather a storm for 20 mins in the second half and the penalty was the turning point.
Robins has been criticised for his substitutes from time to time but he got them spot on today with O’Hare and Baka involved in Godden’s 2nd goal with one of their first touches.
The pitch was a bit of a leveller but we coped in the most with it.

It wasn't even a 'perfect' (as his was the other day) by his goals being broken by others. Sell him. Waste of time for us.
Edit: That should read 'true' - A 'perfect' hattrick is as somebody correctly pointed out: One left foot. One with the right foot and a ricochet off the back of the head.

Strong talk from a rumour account and telegraph
I was told by an old friend the other day that he had already had interest from bigger and better clubs than Ipswich and he doesn’t want to leave Cov. This mate works on the coaching staff at one of the top Premier League clubs. Not saying he will never leave, as money talks eventually, just can’t see him wanting to go anytime soon and certainly not to Ipswich.
