Depends if we go back to the ricoh

Aren't his wages at Wolves eye-watering? The fact he couldn't agree personal terms at Brum is clearly an indication that his demands are boarding on the ridiculous. So surely that suggests that even if we returned to the Ricoh we wouldn't be able to offer anything close to what he wants.

Beggars can’t be choosers he’s not exactly got time on his side to sort a move

Why not ? He was going to brum we play in brum he wanted to come back last week hence the convo the club had with his agent assembly makes perfect Sense Robins knows the player also
If Robins didn't pursue the interest from Bright a few days ago when he was called to say he wanted to come back what makes you think he will be interested now?

Also if Brum can't afford his wage demands what makes you think we can?

True - although I think he's not exactly the full ticket so if I was a betting man I suspect he's asking like for like what he was payed at Wolves. Hence why the talks broke down.

As I’ve said it is a loan here not a permanent transfer he’s prob wanted same wages and signing on fees etc wolves might pay most of he comes here on loan

We hadnt sold Mcallum then, and also we could afford his loan wages as we did last year.

About a 5% chance he will come at all, if he does it would be on Loan. Only got 6 months left on his wolves contract so needs to put himself in the shop window if he wants offers. More likely to do that in league one.

Would we be able to afford his even a proportion of wages whilst on loan? I doubt Wolves would be willing to once again cover a significant proportion of his contract as they did last time.

What’s the alternative for them ? Pay all or save some money & pay a % ?

What's to say he didn't pursue it?

Like the summer, the guy clearly has an unrealistic idea of what his value is (particularly after a failed loan spell at Wigan).

Also not agreeing terms was the outcome wasn't it? Could have wanted a guarantee of first team football that they couldn't offer rather than wages. IT'S BACK ON LADS

It will be a melt down if he heads off to Sunderland

So Robins said there was a conversation about Bright coming back but he was off to Brum, now his Brum move is off due to failing to agree personal terms...

makes sense to get him back he’s playing at the same ground he thought he was moving too anyway & on his day he’s class no doubt robins knows how to get the best from him playing in one of the 2 advanced midfield roles could be ideal for a player like him,no doubt Godden will benefit of someone like him behind him.
I’ve missed something - when did robins say that?

The only thing that makes me intrigued, is why would Robins name drop if theres no interest.. seems abit bait to me. He surely knows it would send the fanbase into meltdown.

Wolves extending the contract by a year was a total balls up. Must have cost them a few bob to send someone out on loan and get 0 game time.

Quality newspaper shithousery, I'm going with Robins words of categorically nobody coming in. Bright has hardly played all season and last season took a few games to get up to speed, don't think we can afford him that, and would he even fit into the system?

Robins comments about it being about 'everything, personality and commitment' when talking about Bright might give an indication of his thoughts

There were no rumours of him being disruptive when he was here last year. His performances were good. Robins seemed to manage him fine and according to Boddy, they made a 600k bid for him in the summer. Seems like he has gained a bad reputation based on his social media nonsense and rumours of his time at Wigan.
