That was a scrappy game against a scrappy team, said to my lad in the pub before that i was more worried about this game than the Pompey game, i think there are obvious signs of tension in the fanbase on here, we're all so used to city teams Cov-ing it up it's understandable. I'm as certain as it's possible to be with city that we will play better on Tuesday.

I was more nervy about this one too, if had “fuck up” written all over it. We had to beat them, but there was no way it was gonna be a free flowing game. These people that thought it was going to be a walk in the park need to smarten up.

Robins is the cricket equivalent of a golden arm. This has been a shambles from the first 15 minutes and somehow we’ve won the game I’d think - we’ve created nothing all game
Allen
Max header
Baka offside goal

not lots but we were very comfortable until about 70 and even then rose just missed an uncontested header

Guys imagine we get promoted and alot of u spent season moaning

Such a waste?

I don't think there has been that much negativity to be fair. It's a couple of comments borne out of frustration that a couple of people have jumped all over. I think, on the whole, people are very positive about results and the way we have played this season.

Yeah but since October it’s been magnificent

In Oct they got players in who were free agents and not played all season, takes a while to get fitness and then match fitness. Players also have to gell and get used to the playing system.
When we mention bringing in a player who has not played the one thing always said is... that it will take them 10 games to get up to match speed and we don't have that.
Bolton had no choice, a team of Kids who we played (in their 1st home game and battled to the end) could never keep that effort up.
Look at us, last game at HR when did we ever win that big but adrenaline and the occasion carried us to that result.
1st Game at the Ricoh, another game where adrenaline and the occasion carried us to that result.
1st game back at the Ricoh, adrenaline and the occasion carried us to that result.
When we played Bolton at their ground they were going for it with kids who wanted to prove they were good enough to take them through the season, it was like a cup final for them and after that game they blew out and found their level, not to mention the ref helping them out.
If was always going to be a weird game against them for their 1st home game of the season.

After following City for over 40 years 'I for one am as happy as a pig in shit:emoji_pig2:
4th in the league with games in hand, winning games on a regular basis both
Home and away 'even when obviously not at our best.
When things are going this well 'why waste time and energy searching for the
Negatives, just concentrate on the positives 'of which there are many.
If we were playing in Cov with this team right now 'that would probably be as
Good as it gets for me.
I'm loving it :D

Amen, brother.

Poor performance, good 3 pts, think Dabo started to look tired, got caught up the pitch a few times leaving Rose exposed and him having a stinker helped Bolton no end. Biamou may not be everyones cup of tea but is looking like the best striker at the club at the moment especially when you consider Hiwulla not being used, he does make a difference whether starting or coming on as a sub!
Think we'll do well to draw that on today's performance. Anyone playing us is best advised just to hoof it down the pitch
And based on Tuesdays performance we should of won 4-0 today ;)
Just watched the goals on Saturday on Sky and there’s no way Bakayoko was off-side for his disallowed goal when the cross was made
A good yard off, he was looking across the line and should of held his run.

You cannot see Baka when the cross is hit so not sure how anyone can definitively say it wasnt offside from the highlights.

Are people still going to suggest the atmosphere is better at St Andrews than the Ricoh?

Was truly awful today.

Will feel like a home game for Pompey on Tuesday for them.

It was terrible for 80 minutes. I do think it will be better on Tuesday. Night games are generally better and the importance of the fixture and big away following will hopefully raise the volume a bit.

I don't think I can do another season there, it's soul destroying. So much credit to Robins and players for how they are handling it. The last 2 league games have been worse than Northampton. I'm serious.

The atmosphere was just matching the shit game to be fair.

That's true to a point. The game followed a similar pattern to the MK game, but a soon as there was a bit of jeopardy in the game it livened up and there were a few bodies flying around when we scored.
