1975 - Played Everton at Goodison Park first game of the season - We were the bookies favourites to go down (normal) Everton missed winning the league by 3 points the previous season and we were like lambs to the slaughter - We stunned the home crowd and won 4-1 that day -David Cross scored a hatrick -We sang all the way back to Coventry - Went to Burnly last game of the same season and we won 3-1 and up popped David cross with another hatrick

Beating Liverpool 2-1 with a last minute winner from Dublin I was on a corporate freebie from carslberg and had a fiver on us to win 2-1 @25/1 . I think if Liverpool had won they would of gone top

Blackburn in the cup, although it was a draw. Gunnarsson’s 25 yarder, I managed to film that on my old phone. Also one of my first away days. That and Sheffield Wednesday, couldn’t tell you the score I just remember being chuffed with going to an away game at Hillsborough

Utterly brilliant day. I've never heard our supporters so loud. I had to put my fingers in my ears at one point as it was painful. It was a fantastic match and the pitch invasion at the end said it all. David burrows was immense.
As I recall , all the teams at the bottom won that day . I think Man City may have been relegated eventually.
Also that first win at villa park (Moldovan)
That 3-1 win at Mk Dons. The fans again !

I was there! And from memory it was Sunderland who went down.

Leeds away. Boxing Day. 1-0 down. City fans making all the noise and we ramped it up as soon as we conceded.
Stormed back to win 3-1. Huckerby was unstoppable, top class and ran past Palmer as if he wasn't there. Celebrating goals with strangers in the aisles. Epic memories.

You're probably right. I lived in tooting at the time and just decided to turn up on the day as it wasn't far. I couldn't believe how many supporters there were. Must have been 6000 and more.

For sheer drama and tension, Spurs away to avoid relegation. We were doomed going into that game. Everyone knew it. We knew it. Traveled in hope and with no expectation. Immense City crowd that day - true supporters. Miracle at the Lane.

Best experience ever - Notts County away second leg. I personally was in tears at times during that game after all of the setbacks we had been through over the years - to see us on the way back meant so much. The unity between the fans and the team was the best I have ever seen.

Got to be Notts County away for me, just watched it again at the weekend, was an amazing time, my lad then flipped onto the video of the team celebrating with us afterwards, still brings a lump to the old throat

Watching on You Tube now, 3 pitch invasions and I’m sorry to say I was on the pitch all 3 times

A couple of mine already mentioned - 4-1 at Villa, 2-0 at Wimbledon (we took nearer 10,000 - had the whole stand on the side of the pitch, completely taking over the half allocated for their supporters), 2-1 Spurs to stay up. Other's not mentioned are 3-1 at Spurs the season before the 2-1 game when Strachan & Ndlovu tore their full backs to pieces, and 3-0 at Arsenal with Quinn's hat trick when Ndlovu & Wegerle were unplayable.

Broke down on the way to Wolves. Sat in the car listening to the radio. We arrived at half time 1-0 down somehow ended up in the Wolves end to watch a Ferguson hat trick for a 3-1 win

I’m gonna concentrate on more recent times
The 1-0 away in at Wycombe during the beast from the east.
600 of us singing from start to finish, half frozen.
And although not a win, the away game at Mansfield..1-0 down down to 10 men and drawing 1-1. The start of the push for promotion. Had we lost, in my opinion we would never have been promoted.
Made it better it was against Steve Evans

I was a ballboy at that match, although never touched the ball the whole 90 minutes. Still got the program somewhere signed by all the players.

I agree with you that Mansfield game was a masssive turning point as we were not playing that well down to 10 men and Mansfield turned up the pressure -I thought it was only a matter of time before they got another goal - Then out of nowhere we were awarded a penalty (i thought a litle soft) but from that day we seemed to grow in confidence and have never looked back

That's the one Gynns. It was interesting as Whelan was viewed as the returning hero by the Leeds faithful whilst McAllister got all kinds of abuse.

Fantastic, fantastic moment when McAllister drilled home our penalty right in front of us - and boy did we celebrate.

The best part was the way we stuck with the team after going one nil down and immediately turned up the volume - and the team responded like a dream. Huckerby was sensational in sparking the comeback and created absolute panic - what a player he was.

Good reminder. Need to add Steve Evans to the list of those we hate.

4-0 at Millwall. What a day.

Some guy in the home end was wearing a suit and started getting aggressive. We were all singing 'your suit's from Matalan'.

That pissed him off even more and he got kicked out.

Burge was Burge and gave away a penalty, but then saved it.

Notts County away for pure football reasons.

Barnsley away in terms of memories, think it was a cup game, Leon Clarke scored and me and 3 mates decided to spontaneously book a hotel and go out celebrating. We met a group of Barnsley girls who enjoyed the hotel breakfast buffet the next morning.

The 5-2 away to Blackburn was a special evening for the 600 odd of us that was there all talk before the game was of Blackburn going top once they beat us went absolutely mental when the 4th went in giving us the 2 goal cushion with minutes to spare stood open mouthed after the 5th enjoying the spectacle of city fans going berserk
I was there! This one will never be out of my top 5.
