Just in case it wasn’t mad enough today, here is the infamous graph. USA... where do you start. I saw today that 14 states have exempted mass religious rallies from quarantine, absolutely bonkers stuff going on. Suggests we are 2 weeks away from the now almost mythical “peak”

we have been 2 weeks behind /away from the peak for 2 weeks now. Its like Tim fisher is doing the stats

All the best to Johnson, hope he recovers quickly.

Thought this was interesting, though we seem to have moved past the economy vs health arguments.

Aren't most fatalities from the virus from people who start to get worse around 10 days in ala Johnson?

I sincerely hope he pulls through and this is indeed precautionary.

Oh Boris.

It's almost as if boasting about shaking hands with patients and staff in a hospital with confirmed Corona cases was a bad idea.

Oh well, just take it on the chin, like you told us.

Obviously he is going to get the best possible care, but it would be nice if he could be left in a bed in a corridor like some poor people have had to endure, so that he could see what his party have done to the NHS over the last 10 years.

I think he's a prick but I also think this goes too far

I’m probably one of his ‘and his party’s sharpest critics ....but you gotta have limits mate.
For you’re own well-being as much as anybody else’s.

Whatever your political views are, I think we all want Boris to have a speedy and successful recovery.

From what I gather, 10 days is the average time of recovery and if you have passed that time still with symptoms then it starts to become serious.

You don't go to hospital for 'tests' on Sunday evening, this is more serious than what has been reported. Sleepless nights trying to win the election, Brexit negotiations and now this won't have done much good to his immune system.

Get well soon Boris!

Obtuse. Although it is to be expected from some.

We need Boris to get well quickly - the alternative would still be dithering and recounting the numbers - I also hope Carrie only has light symptoms and recovers quickly

I suspect this could be serious, once this virus gets to the lungs it takes a different course, the mortality rate is high.

I'm fed up with seeing the same old ballbags seeing conspiracy theories everywhere.

It's perfectly normal to go into hospital if you have a serious virus that isn't clearing. It doesn't mean its getting worse for you are going to die.

Good morning all
