Proof is there. 4 nil

Well done Jordan!

Unlucky overated Martin!
That’s not proof really is it. That’s like saying Kyel Reid was better than Chris Maguire.

Turnbull played well in the checkatrade final, And I felt played well agaisnt Wycombe in the semi final. But generally he was crap.

Martin wasn’t Better but he wasn’t worse

Chaplin just scored a cracking header for Barnsley. With Barnsley likely to go down I would think there would be other Championship clubs possibly looking at him for next season. Would surely be worth a few million now.

Tbf at least Kyel Reid threatened defences. What did Maguire do? Score a couple a free kicks at MK and play an awful pass in a cameo appearance at Swindon?

Haven't looked at their run in, but if they win this evening, they have a fighting chance of getting out of it. There is a real chance of Huddersfield going down to League 1, having been in the PL last season. That means they would still get tens of millions parachute payments next season, which will be laughable budget wise in that division. Talk about an advantage (and yes, I know some players will still be on silly money, and impossible to shift)

Of course fans could miss out on quite a few games next season. But it’d be typical for ‘Uddersfield to get relegated when so many of us are missing their stadium on the tick list. And for Fulham to go up!

Just watching Championship scores to get a handle on teams, and Stoke are really in trouble. Could have players like Butland, Shawcross, Ince, the Welsh pair, Allen and Vokes, plus James Chester, Diouf and one or two others who will be on laughable money to be in League 1. May not happen, but difficult to imagine we could be in a higher league than them when you look back to Grimmer scoring the winner when we were in L2 2 seasons ago and they were PL. Amazing.

A lot of those players are past their best, and others seem to be going through the motions. Sacking Pulis was such a bad decision for that club.

I don't think it necessarily was, after all Pullis like many of his successors did nothing at all to build any sustainability at Stoke. Their problems are far deeper rooted than who the manager is.

The Fleetwood v Wycombe game was crazy. 3 goals in the first 6 minutes, two players sent off for Fleetwood and missed penalty. Wycombe won 4-1, played against ten men for an hour and still only had 36% possession.
