I find it hard to believe clubs were ready to offer 5 million for him?

He looks average now, defenders have wised up to him. Think he also misses playing alongside Adebola.

What you reckon?

I think so too!

Defenders always put 2 on him which is why I think with a decent old head he would have a field day having so much space!

He is not the best finisher I have noticed unless he is generally just off form :(

I hope he can go back to playing like before though :)

i think he's a gr8 player & hope if cov do sell him he joins villa. i think he would b good with jon carew. some of u r a bit harsh on him. this is his 1st full season in england and he does come from malta. apart from making maltesers what do they do in malta :?: it's nice 2 c some1 from there breaking free from the chocolate industry & playing football in england. we need 2 support miffy & not razz him just cuz he only scores against prem teams.

I don't think so, he has just hit some bad form, which incidentally started long before Dele left!

Hopefully he will get it back soon though if it was bad form though but I do think defences have figured him out though as every game they seem to stick to him like glue and don't give him any room to breath.

If they stick tight to him it's not so much of a problem as his pace will get him round them, it's more of an issue when they defend deep and he can't get in behind them.

Misfuds problem is cuz our midfield is so dam poor they cant play through balls for him to chase so he has to come deep looking then there midfield just swamp his 5ft nothing ass untill we get some quality in the middle the little man will always look poor .But bet he still finishes the season on 18 goals.

Mifsud IS playing in midfield though that is why he is coming deep?

We can only judge Mifsud when our manager plays him in his position as a Striker not as a winger!!! How can you change the position of a striker who had scored 16goals till November??? I just cant understand this

I don't really judge him on where he plays or how many he isn't scoring it is more like the one on ones he has missed and the decent chances he misses when he is in front of goal.

I thought he looked a little like his old self last night, though still far short of what we're used to.

At the time Mifsud was for a while sensational and at times unstoppable bit of a chance misser though. Seemed to become a bit of a billy big bollocks though having said that not sure if we managed him properly and he became a bit of a one trick pony and once opponents sussed him he went off the boil. But if we could find similar now pace wise a player like he was at first could make us very serious challengers in my opinion.

I recall an elbow in the oppo’s face jumping for a header? I probably am wrong though, usually the case.
That was in one of their bi-annual thumpings they handed out to us, wasn't it?

Elbow - crikey he was a midget

2 goals against Manure were well taken

wasn’t he managed by his brother or something which was his undoing

He was supposed to go to Bristol City but Gary Johnson called the deal off as he’d never come across a player with such wild demands. I think he may have been playing on his hero status in Malta
