That first half we apparently had 33% possession, but I would have guessed less. Godden's equaliser a turning point.

The second half was how I thought we'd be from the start: fast, direct, determined and competitive. I didn't think we'd have another two goals in us though.

I still think QPR looked better than us overall, but with character like that we'll win some more games.

Cock-a-hoop in the north of France

For real?

Even when we were penned in, they didn’t create a clear cut opportunity. After the second half, we were by far the better side. Defensively, QPR looked all over the shop - our two open play goals were pretty soft and we should’ve scored before McFadz winner.

EDIT: even their manager said their goals were soft and they had 2 warnings before the 3rd goal.

....and there you have it. Come back twice and then score the winner. Second half peformance all you could ask. Good win and first points on the board. Much to take from this game which will stand us in good stead. What was most pleasing is we competed and overcame a decent physical side after getting a grip on the game. Still think we are relegation fodder? I think not. We will improve on tonight so there is a lot to look forward to. 3 very well taken goals too.

Sky are literally making out QPR handed us the game.

Their defending was very poor. Overall, we defended well, but we didn’t deal with another far post corner and conceded a stupid penalty.

Take the positives, but we’ve conceded a lot of stupid goals already this season - all 5 goals in our last 3 games were silly. 3 penalties conceded in 4 games already. Needs addressing pronto.

He's spoke very well about cov. You always thibk every tv station hates us lol

and thats' the mentality everyone involved with the club should have.
Ferguson developed a frankly ridiculous victim culture at United given how much preferential treatment they received but their us against the world attitude worked.

First half we stood off too much and teams at this level can keep possession all day long. Fortunately they didnt really do anything with it.

Shame McFadz went into contact when no need for penalty. But rather than go to piecies he scored the winner.

Our first goal was best move of first half and great movement and finish from Godden.

More ourselves the second half and deserved to win. Bit of a mix up for their second but that the learning curve at this level.

Result so important and get us off the mark. Two good performances and 3 points. Things to work on, but off the mark now.

Im a city fan, they are TV presenters and pundits who seem gutted QPR lost.

Agreed they did cream over O’Hares goal TBF, but there was a definite QPR bias throughout. And the only thing they knew about us was We have 164 Championship “caps” (wtf?) or whatever and 114 are Kyle McFadzean.

Terrible coverage all round. Really clueless.
