I hope we can pull another ACM out of the bag. Not sure if Allen or Shipley will be good enough next to O’Hare for a few months at least.
Agree Allen/Shipley don't look great.

Impressed with Ohare. And Godden so far overall in 4 games. I think Bapaga could have that x factor.

Reality check. Bournemouth far more quality and gamesmanship. Cook won't be the last to wind up Hamer. Needs to learn quickly. Think Cook should have gone too. I do think that Robins would have been better to play 2 up ( Godden and Baka). Baka will ruffle feathers and they needed to be stretched.

Nothing gets past this presenter. Second half came after the first half - genius.

Had to pop out second half so listened on talk sport. The difference in quality between them and Sky was startling. It was like the Sky commentators had never seen a football match before.

They have an oil baron on top

They still owe £80m in transfer repayments, and the majority of their players are on in excess of £20-30K per week. Some are on even more than that. Their turnover to wages ratio must be eye watering.

So, it's irrelevant how much their owners are worth as Bournemouth are just as subject to the P&S rules as clubs the size of Wycombe will be.

So for skyblue Pete and his cohorts, I thought we looked like the Brazilian team of the 1970 World Cup, I can't find one fault in our team, and if we don't win the Champions League in 2023 I'm going to give up
My point is shipley was no worse than seven others and you can add Allen to that from the second half. Stop having a boo boy and you won’t look daft. Shipley deserves a go as Allen not good enough. I think he’ll try walker and Godden up front with Ohare behind cause Allen and shipley are not good enough on current form

We’re a small fish in this pond. We were outclassed by a better team. I’d guess Watford and Norwich will do the same. It happens. Hamer was disappointing. We now miss our best player for 3 games.

dust ourselves off and go again... we were spoiled in league one with 3 defeats

I don't look on here when I'm watching the game, so apologies if this has been said.

We were thoroughly outplayed this evening. Having said that, I'm really disappointed by how many passes went astray. Was that as a result of B'mouth so comprehensively outplaying us or were we also on poor form?

Standout performers for us were Marosi and Hyam. Godden performed for the only chance he got. Rose did OK when he came on and Allen was better than Shipperz.

Wake up call for those of us that thought that Dabo was nailed on for the Premier League and Giles was piss poor.

We played one of the best teams in the league this evening and defeat was possibly inevitable. I still think we'll avoid relegation and let's not forget that it took 2 years to get out of League 1. PUSB.

PS (EDIT): Hamer is naïve. Had he fallen down clutching his throat instead of girly slapping their player we may well have had a two-man turnaround for the last 30 minutes.

Those rules matter fuck all if they go up before the accounting period is done. Wolves gave away £50 million in one season and got away with it

Yep agreed Baka or Walker are better bets on what we’ve seen from Allen and shipley

Kelly makes a difference in there. I think robins will look at an attacking midfielder before the transfer window out. Allen and shipley aren’t good enough.

Rose looked assured and hyam excellent dabo off the pace. McCallum will be in for Giles after the break he was poor defensively tonight.

We need much more mobility all over the pitch dont we?
They would have run rings round Kelly tonight. Kelly is a brilliant lower league player where he can read slow, stupid footballers, anticipate and nip in and win the ball. Against most top half teams in this league, he won't get near them. It'll be the single biggest issue this year across the whole team, lack of pace.

Kelly to sit alongside Sheaf for the next 3 games. Feel so sorry for O'Hare with the work he puts in - needs more help around him. Hope Bapaga's shoulder heals quickly - he could be a real help in getting us forward. Dabo needs fitness - but is slowly getting that back (he will improve). We do need to sort out getting the ball from back to front and it sticking. Godden had/did little, but with little service. In games like that I'd be tempted to throw Baka on for more of a physical presence. As a fan base we may have to get used to a few games like this, but we have to remember these have beaten Norwich and Blackburn (both who are a level above us). The most important thing is to stick together. Slap aside (although MR won't be happy ) Hamer has real attitude, is a real 'winner' in the sense that he doesn't seem to give a sh:t who the opposition is, He just gets stuck in. You can tell that this won't be the last of his red cards. I'm going to love him and he's going to drive me mad in equal measure.

Lots and lots of passes went astray especially in the first half. They did well to keep their press at such high intensity, although Hamer’s red helped them

Walker has looked poor for me. Worst of the four strikers.

We need Kelly back in. We need Dabo at match fitness. We probably need to bring in another AM unless Jobello is about to burst into the scene in a new position.

looooooooong way to go. We’re several transfer cycles from being close to competitive in this league. Long term probably 8-9 players away.

How do you make up for it?

Kids we'll stay up, only 2 or 3 teams in this league are anywhere near as good as Bournemouth.

I didn't mind the loss to Bristol City as we played well and fought for everything. I might be in the minority today but I thought we just didn't look up for it at all. We seemed scared at everything. Scared to tackle, scared to pass properly, scared to make runs. It just seemed like we had lost the game in our heads before we even started. For me that is really disappointing.

The red card was a bit strange. Not saying he didn't deserve it, but surely the other shove/slap was worse? That tackle was pretty horrific too. I felt the ref had the same inferiority complex to Bournemouth as we did.

Some players who I would question ability-wise at this level have been singled out tonight. I also think apart from Hyam, Marosi anyone played well, but some players were in the absolute dog shit category. No doubt they are better than us, but we let them be without putting up a fight.
