Some of you folks are so annying at just 4 games in. Bristol City who tbf we outplayed for most of the match are top with 4 wins. We beat a fancied QPR side 3-2 and a draw away at Barnsley. We just lost to a side with 5 years premeiership football after getting one of our best players sent off and down to 10 men. So Wycombe are winless and Rotherham like us finding their feet.
Yet some here already suggesting a taxi for Robins in a few weeks and our system is no good, or our players not good enough?
Come on man - to borrow a phrase, we look a very reasonable side that will adjust and get much better as the season progresses. Lay off the negativity for 5 minutes.

You were predicting a challenge for the play-offs a couple of weeks ago, it’s completely unrealistic.

Exactly so surely 21st is a huge underachieving position according to him

Exactly this.
There has to be a chance to build.

There is a serious point though. People seem to think certain players like Shipley and Sheaf are not at this level. I suspect robins isn’t at this level as a manager - time will tell
Oh for the love of God. What you know about football you can write on the back of a postage stamp. So if we did get rid of the manager, who the hell is out there who we could afford that is a better manager? You also must realise the budget we have, Bournemouth’s team last night cost them 90 million quid. Have a bit of perspective, survival is a great season

We need to stay up at all costs.

Look at Luton, started well after learning the league last year and how to play it and get results. This is what we did in our first year back in League one. I’m not saying if we stayed up, we would be up the top next season, but I would be sure that we would be more successful than this.

Spot on - we need to stay in the league. This season is a Golden Ticket and relegation with no home is a passport to oblivion

Survival is the goal

Where do you think we will finish?

It’s more where we need to - given our nomadic status relegation could be the death knell - the notion we will be a surprise package in the league is bollocks and it’s odd how suddenly Bournemouth have gone from being a club in decline to clearly the best in the league

There is zero excuse to be below the other promoted teams. Another has a huge points deduction so we may need only 50 points to stay in it - and we have to

You can usually also bank on another side to have a shocker as Forest seem to be doing about now. Can’t believe they’ll stay down there though. We do desperately need a fix to the ground situation by the end of the season too

Has more of an excuse though G. I get you don’t rate him but he has earned the right to a fair crack

I think he will suffer the same dogmatism as many managers do

That's just the way it goes, look at rotherhams fixtures for example compared to ours , we cant help how it's been computed

We’ve only ever done things the hard way. As long as we’re not adrift by December when we have a run of easier games I won’t be too concerned.

Rotherham have played Wycombe, Birmingham, Huddersfield and Millwall, you would argue 3 of those will finish bottom half.. Weve played against 1 almost certain to be in for promotion, one who will probably push for the playoffs and one who will linger in mid table... Rotherham have 1 more point than us

We've probably picked up the points that many would have expected from our first 4

I'd argue we would have more than 5 points from them 4 games... Possibly 7

If we are dealing with a massive step up are Dabo and hamer not worth £10 million and Rose good enough for Leeds? Oh
Neither Dabo or Hamer are currently worth anywhere near £10m. I think they and our other players are good enough to keep us up, but they found it hard to compete with a very strong Bournemouth team last night. I think we have been talking some players up too much, and then our expectations of the team and individuals become unrealistic.

I don’t see Bournemouth as being in decline. They were unlucky to be relegated, and although they’ve lost a couple of players, we were still playing basically a team of Premier League players. The disappoinment last night was our difficulty in keeping possession in the middle of the park. We couldn’t build possession in important areas because of the number of times our passes were intercepted. We will need to sharpen up, which hopefully will happen as we get used to the pace of the league.
