I don't mind it. Kelly should be in and I assume Walker would be in for Max were he properly fit. Also means we get to see O'Hare as a super sub. Just hope we play with some confidence.

That team is fine, the two surprises are Shipley over Kelly (assuming a flat three in the middle) and McFadzean being dropped - seems bizzare to me. That’s zero experience or leadership in the team.

Still, I’m pleased we’re trying something different and I really really hope Biamou proves the many doubters wrong. He’s a great link player and he deserves a go. Walker isn’t sharp yet and hasn’t been convincing this year.

You've got to imagine that Max is there to hold the ball up and win a few in the air from the panicked hoofs we'll be doing. And I don't blame Robins for the hoofball, by the way, I just think it's fear from the players. A positive result or two and I think we'll find our rhythm, but until then let's grind it out.

But Reading aren't a possession based side. They had only 37% at home to Rotherham and 34% at Blackburn. We should have a lot of the ball tonight.

I suspect we’d have sore necks if we were watching in the stadium tonight based on that starting 11. Would not rule out Max notching a couple tonight. Could be a master stroke as Reading will have prepared to play our short passing/play out from the back side.

I do agree RE Kelly though. Has to be starting. Hopefully Shippers has his 1 in 3 decent game.

Reading Forum reporting that there will be 1 mins silence before the game for Remembrance Day. Would have thought that would be either next weekend or the following as the 11/11 is on a Wednesday.

The fact it’s only 3 days after the last match and he’s not getting any younger. Also lack of pace in defence has been a massive issue so far this season.

Not getting the sudden hate of Rose he was immense last season.

It might be but we now have a very green defence and in fact a pretty green XI

Paul Cook in the studio. Should have played longer for us. Was classy with that left foot. Good manager as well.

I think Biamou deserves a go, surprised fadz is out unless he has a knock, nobody expects anything other than a loss tonight so it's a good time to try something different. Go on Maxi lad

That awful presenter is on again. She ain’t even fit

Her inability to be fair in her analysis of both teams on show is painfully obvious. Going to wait till 7:45 before I turn over to the game.

I get the impression some people are drooling at the prospect of Max failing tonight.

When he came on against Gillingham and scored it was excrutiating to watch people try to invent reasons to criticise him. They were furious.

Go on Max me old son, shut the fuckers up.
