Off the top of my head I don’t remember a post of yours ever supporting a player.

Dabo is a phenomenal player at this level

considering Godden had to run and run Tuesday to do the same again today is pretty commendable and has an assist for the

Weve given up trying to pass the ball around and go more direct which is needed

The midfield 3 were the difference they all scuffed ran and tackled.

4 goals for Godden - vital signing for the club and needs to stay fit for the season.

Great goal - well done Shipley and McCallum has been outstanding so far

Incredible from nowhere great run and almost certain goal fantastic Marosi

I’m surprised at some of the comments on Allen. He’s fairly integral to the game plan. He’s high energy, gets into goal scoring positions and off ball is excellent

Bakayoko looks a lot more like it this season and hopefully will be a surprise package

Sheaf was excellent but Mcfazdean was MOM by a country mile - amazing performance

I said "off the top of my head" for a reason. I thought you would go to the archives and come up with an obscure "well done that man" but I'm actually impressed. I'll be watching for a comment when Maxgets that elusive first goal.

The comment you are waiting for will undoubtedly be cynical.

Well done. You searched back years to find 5 positive comments out of 50,000 other dismissive and derisory comments.

Every stopped clock......

Nope plenty more just shows you talk out of your arse

Is he another who *wants* players to fail Danny?

Grendel is the Dominic Cummings of SBT; he obviously wants certain players to fail and also our manager to fail to suit his agenda ...... and constantly publishes misinformation to further his agenda.

Unfortunately unlike Cummings he hasn't resigned. Looks like we are stuck with him for life.

I think you are a bit unhinged - I do admire someone who multi tasks though, being able to type on a key board while his head is completely inserted in Mr Biamous back passage

Give you credit for consistency I have to say.

If anyone argues against some of the uninformed nonsense you post on here you always do the following:

1. publish highly flawed stats in response 2. keep repeating those flawed stats until even you believe the stats might be true 3. if all else fails and the poster hasn't blocked you by that point (many do in complete despair as you are so myopic).....you then try to discredit and call the poster crazy/unhinged or in love with a player because he agreed to a selfie.

Repeat a million times across a million arguments.

You should actually apply for the job vacated by Cummings - you'd be a natural.

He has proposed Kenny Jackett as a replacement for Robins, everyone rightly had a good laugh at that. But if you offered him or anyone else here Robins guiding us to survival this season he’d obviously take it. The same as if you offered him Biamou scoring 20 and Jamie Allen making 50 assists.

Nobody on here wants us to lose games. Well, except for Barnsley when we play them

In what weird world does Biamou score 20 goals?

The issue Grendel has (imho) is the Biamou fan club are living in denial, it’s a classic case of clueless fans loving a player who gives 100% and allowing that to mask the fact that he is in no way talented enough for the top 3 leagues.

The argument that he once had a good game against Notts County, or 1 of those shots from 30 yards that usually ends up in row Z actually flew in, is becoming embarrassing, especially as his recent appearances have seen him miss a number of absolute sitters from less than 6 yards, and gift the opposition the ball leading to a last gasp penalty.

He’s only still here and involved because he’s refused a number of chances to move on, and we don’t have the budget to replace him,

Now I’d be delighted to be proved wrong, and I’d love him to score 20 league goals, but in all honestly, I can’t see him scoring more than 3 in the championship. If your happy with that return from a centre forward, good luck to you.

We were told he had one of the best striking techniques at the club. Then against Watford under little pressure he sent a shot into orbit from the edge of the box before Walker buried his one chance of the game into the bottom corner.

Tbf that was only one shot, you’d have to check his conversion rate over time to get a better idea as to whether he ‘misses sitters’ for a living. All strikers miss shots from that range (and sitters).

Anyone take Will Grigg over Max (he’s not on fire at the moment it seems):

It was kind of funny to see the point be contradicted in the very next game after it was made.

Danny made that point shortly after the Forest game and he blazed that chance over the bar in the next one
Ah, ok - 2 missed shots also don’t prove jack shit. Need a bigger sample size. I should say, I’m not claiming he’s the answer, just that some of the arguments against him could equally apply to players that are perceived to be far superior (they all miss sitters!). If he plays for half a season and gets 2 goals then fair enough, but it feels like every miss by Biamou is considered ‘proof’ he’s no good, whereas other players get far more leeway.

And he takes selfies with fans ;)

He averages two league goals every half a season

No it was just funny how we heard he's the best striker of a ball at the club yet he contradicted it immediately after. Then Walker gets one chance all game and puts it away.

He isn't the answer to our difficulties. He's there because we couldn't move him on and we have nobody else-Baka seems to be in the bomb squad for other reasons. I don't think anyone in the side gets more leeway than him, genuinely. The likes of Hilssner have been pounced on pretty mercilessly for the crime of having asthma, while the boo boys were also after McF after he'd been our most consistent CB in the first half dozen or so games.

And Sheaf was written off and abused but the Biamou fan boys who get upset about players being abused were strangely quiet.
It’s Andy Morrell all over again, but even worse.

Maybe there's just too much abuse period.

The thing is, abuse of a footballer for their footballing ability (or lack of it) isn't exactly personal abuse, it's more professional abuse (dont know if that's any better) and the people giving it (the fans) are arguably, partly responsible for the players wages , hence they feel justified in voicing their displeasure.

I'd also remind you that most of the abuse is posted when fans are feeling at their most emotional, ie, just after a bad result. If you had to wait 24 hours after a game before posting, then most, (but by no means all) of the abuse wouldn't be posted.

Either way I'm sure the players dont give a fuck what any of us on here post.

You may see it as just "Professinal abuse" but some of our young players might actually feel it as personal abuse?

Or just undermining their confidence? It is when posters become persistent and vitriolic about certain players.

As for players "Don't give a fuck what we post" has been totally disproven if you follow football across the country. Mental Health is a big issue in all sports and society.

This is a thread really targeted at one if the oldest players who actually gets far more praise than others if far superior ability

On that basis when Harry Kane misses his next chance or let's say Ronaldo commits the crime of hitting the bar in their next games - your conclusion will be that "well I heard before today's games that those guys were great strikers of the ball but on the evidence of one shot in one game - it can't possibly be true."

World beating logic that is.

Translation: Keyboard warrior who has never played football at any standard spends hours of his free time targeting and ridiculing one of our own players because he's older than the average age in the team and gets support from other fans. Great support that is. Jesus Christ.
