Don't think we will see much marauding from our wingbacks due to the strength of Watford's wingers so an extra man in midfield makes sense to me but it's easy to stifle our attacking play then. Swamp our little AMs so we have to go wide from our own half and then we'll be left crossing the ball from wide to a lone striker or our AMs will have to come too deep to be effective when receiving the ball.

It's going to take a special performance from James and Hamer to get anything out of this game i think.

I have the perfect game plan today.

Every corner, every free kick, with the penalty area crammed with players, we just keep tweaking Watford players' nipples until one of them loses their rag and throws a punch.

We might then go on to do okay against 10 players. Maybe even 9 if we are on top tweaking form.

Yeah it was hilarious listening to Sky say how Swansea are working on such a low budget.

Myth about Swansea.
Ayew is the highest paid player in the division on £80k p/w

He's on 50k more than the next highest paid player, I think their wage bill is below 20 mill... Which at this level... Is on the lower end/ below mid table

Sides pretty much as expected given the lack of options we have at the moment. The only surprise is Biamou in ahead of Gyokeres considering Max is supposedly carrying an injury.

Not much in the way of game changing options on the bench.

Hopefully Dacosta and McCallum can push their wingers back so they have to do more defending than attacking. Optimistic I know

Max is doing more in games than Zlatan IMO. I think Robins wants Callum and Jamie buzzing around and Max staying in the box.

McCallum in particular is facing a very good and quick player. I suspect he will have a lot of defending to do. Dacosta's winger is pretty good too.

For me he just has to jump in less, its a big issue with him at times where he would be better jockeying and taking the man down the side but he lunges and we are then open...

In comparison to the relegated Prem sides yeah fair enough & they do have youth team graduates like Connor Roberts, frees like Bidwell & loans like Guehi. I do like Swansea & Cooper is an excellent manager.

Worrying that Paul Cook is saying Watford will be trying to go 2 v 1 on full backs.

Well they would have seen Sam in the first half against forest and that was our weakness. I think our change in formation will strengthen our numbers.

That's because Paul Cook is quite astute. One of the big weaknesses of a wing-back system is if they can double up on your wing backs. The Midfielders need to ensure they're quick to get over & help out.

So much negativity already.

Of course their team looks ridiculous and our bench is weak - their squad cost how much and we have how many injuries.

At least wait until we do something wrong to moan.
