Not the disaster predicted on here by many had chances but the plus for me we have more than competed with this so-called multi-million pound squad of Watford’s the big minus again is missing chances, I like Max but he’s one of the biggest chance missers I have seen here. Fingers crossed for what will be a tough second half

Defense has stiffened up and we look decent going forward. Dacosta is another level.. and a note on Max; He’s way more lively than Deeney and is leading the line better.

We’re playing offensively and it’s no coincidence we’re playing well and looking good.

Hyam chance was a shocker, Biamou should have done better but he was slightly ahead of the ball.

Don’t think Biamou deserves the stick, he isn’t ‘shocking’. I like Gyokeres, he’s technically good. but he’s an unknown quantity and its working at the minute. Wait until at least 60/70.

I’m worried about the second half as Watford can’t be that anonymous again.

Thing is, even if we now lose, if we keep playing like this, there is lot of hope for the rest of the campaign.

Dunno what people wanted Biamou to do there at the end, he doesn't have the pace to get in behind from that far out if he makes a run immediately and he did pull the centre backs over eventually, that's why Hamer had the space to shoot from where he did. Don't think that would be getting any attention if he or Hyam had scored the headers that they absolutely should have.

A good home performance and a lot of the negativity is people looking down the table and feeling nervous rather than the performance itself.

Totally agree, Biamou has worked well, he doesn't quite have the pace to pick up the threaded passes but Deeney has done nothing for them

I wonder how much stick Andre Gray is getting on the Watford forum. You worry about Biamou's goal return per game. Gray has scored once in 30 games..
