Apparently in advanced talks with a championship club as a free agent he can sign and play to be honest don’t know that much about him other than he has a bit of a reputation:

Could we ? Would we ? Should we ?

If we did everyone would have to give the Kit man their watches even if it was a 10 quid one from the local newsagents. He also has a poor attitude and is not even that good to be fair.

Weirdly, the last thing I read before logging on here was an article on the very same bloke...

I did wonder if the club in question would be us but discounted it. I mean....I'd give him a go on pay as you play basis, trial for one month.

I would rather Bright Enobakhare on any deal as he is young still and can learn to grow out of his maverick fase whereas Morrison is 28 and I do not think he will change as he has been an idiot for quite a bit of his life

He's possibly getting to the point where he recognises it, whereas Bright (who hasn't played at the level as Morrison) is still obviously very immature and shows no sign of growing up.

I'd take Morrison tbh but I doubt Robins would

Agree to an extent but as Fernando says, he kind of seems like he's wised up to the fact that he's been an idiot.

Now, it could be a case of a leopard never changing it's spots and he's only saying it to get a new contract but Bright had has chance to come back here and turned us down.

remember listening to a podcast with Keiron Dyer who went to West Ham at the same age Morrison is now.
Said he actually took it serious at West Ham and sorted out his lifestyle but it was too late and he didn't succeed there because he couldn't undo all the years of neglecting his body.
To be fair he also suffered for years with an injury that turned out to be something trivial but which a succession of medical staff and doctors missed.

The podcast yesterday should be taken with a dumper truck of salt
This guy is toxic to whichever club he joins
Although the story about Allardyce is true it isn't the reason West Ham cancelled his contract
That was more to do with misconduct including using the club's mini cab contract to take him and his cronies clubbing in Manchester

Don't think what we need right now is a player who who turns up for training when he wants, goes missing for weeks and doesn't understand why that is bad.

Hopefully his career can get kick started but we aren't the club for him right now

Robins got the best out of Bright so why not Morrison? Can’t see it though; it’ll be Sheff Weds or Rotherham or someone like that...

It could be Derby as he has history with Wayne Rooney, apparently he nicked his boots and sold them to raise cash to buy food.

The Huddersfield story seems most plausible, the article explicitly says he wants to stay local to his family and Hudds is only 20 miles or so from Manchester.

What are the reasons he couldn't get the best out of JCH?
One of the issues with gangsta types is the effect they have on young players who look at them as role models and who think that's the way they should behave
JCH was a bit that way when he was here
Morrison was definitely the same at some of the places he's been

Heard JCH issue was with Luke Thomas and derby were ready to pull the plug on the loan unless it was sorted, next window JCH went

I was told by person in Whitefield (between Manchester and Bury) pub , same guy who told me about Coventry legend George Hudson living in Whitefield, that Ravel Morrison was one of the most talented young players ever.

As 'Better Days' mentioned JCH , I thought his quality stood out in our team a couple of seasons ago in his second stint . I was personally sad to see him go at the time . He would be invaluable to our team now. in saying that though I have every faith in Mark Robins.
