Darren Moore has left Doncaster Rovers, to join Sheffield Wednesday. I hope the new manager bounce doesn’t kick in for a while.

This is a move they should have made in November rather than the Pulis gamble & then subsequently just coasting without a manager since December.

Big decision for Moore, Donny doing well & Wednesday have absolute basket case owners. May end in tears.

Yeah does seem an odd move from him. Hang on, he could have got a more stable gig.

To be fair Sheffield Wednesday are massive compared to Doncaster even if they swop places this season, I can see the sense in them going for Darren Moore they might survive relegation but if not have a manager in place who knows his way around division one, got a baptism of fire though, Rotherham on Wednesday and four of the top seven to play has his work cut out.

Don’t think that’s the right move for Sheff Weds - my friends a Baggies fan and Moore wasn’t remotely rated there. It’s the right move for us though - a league one appointment in my opinion.

He's done OK as a manager, not sure he has enough about him to keep them up though.

Why are People talking like Moore is some super decorated coach ? He’s never Champ level this screams desperation from them

Moore is a well-respected and well-rated manager in the industry. You'd find few people who either know him or have worked with him previously who would say otherwise. Unsure what information you're basing your opinion on. I assume nothing as per usual.

However, that being said he lacks experience in the Championship and Sheffield Wednesday are a mess both on and off the field. I do wonder if Chansiri already has one eye on League One. One of Moore's key qualities at Doncaster was that he was able to build a play-off chasing squad on a threadbare budget. I suspect given Wednesday's financial predicament that'll be needed if they're to be relegated this season.

I rate Moore. However he has to work with what he has got so will be a test for him.

Our destiny is in our own hands.

Its going to be a dog fight.

I rate him, but not I'm not sure if he can keep them up taking over at this stage of the season. If he does he'll be sought after.

Side note I'd happily have him here if Robins left for any reason.

I think Sheffield have been smart, they are still in the mix to get out of trouble but should that fail they have someone with experience to get things right at Wednesday for getting back up next season.

You really do talk some shit at times. When he took over at West Brom they were virtually relegated from the Premiership and he nearly saved them from going down. He was sacked the following March when West Brom were in the play off places. To me that tends to demonstrate he is Championship Level.
