Honestly don't know how they'll complete all their fixtures

I don't think they'd want to play 2/3 games a week until May... So it's a shit one and we move on... Watch other teams implode on Saturday now I suppose

Problem is next time we play them they will likely have a fully fit squad as they probably wouldn't have had one this week even without covid

Apparently they have no slots left to fit this in so no idea when it’s going to be played. International break is a possibility but hardly fair on us if Ostigard gets a call up for Norway.

They're not going to be able to fit all the games in at this rate. At what point do they have to start forfeiting?

They will just have to extend the season probably

If they say then we should refuse.

They should be made to hand in a list of players who are currently injured and none of them should be allowed to play in the fixture.

We should only agree to a date that suits us. Presumably their home game against Watford on the following Tuesday will then be in doubt too, or at least some affected players will be unavailable.

Extending the season for Rotherham United alone would be genuinely ridiculous. Wouldn't surprise me though.

The EFL won’t extend the season. All the final games will be played at the same time on the same day as usual.

if it gets to the point they can’t for them in then they’ll have to forfeit them. They should already get a points deduction for fucking with the competition.

The amount of conspiracy’s over this ridiculous.
If it was us, would we want any games postponed?
No.
If we had several players out and the training ground was closed would we want games postponed?
Yes.

Why does everything have to be more than it is.
Your talking like you know for fact their not upto no good ? Their littered with injuries didn’t see us giving it “Covid” when we had injuries tho 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s not a conspiracy to say that their COVID protocols are obviously not up to scratch for them to have so many outbreaks which have bought so many postponements when the vast majority of clubs have played on. They should be deducted points because they can’t keep their house in order and in bringing them competition into disrepute.

It goes through football league doctors. There will be results of Covid tests.
They are obviously doing something wrong in regards to protecting players but can you really say it’s to get games cancelled? Complete nonsense.

It stinks something is not right the league should be investigating and taking points of any wrong doing is going on

Didn't we lose our cb and gk to covid in the same game. But we played it. That's two of the spine of the team. There's no doubts about it, it's dodgy. Rotherham mate said to me 2 weeks ago they were fucked and needed a break. Now they've had a nice two weeks off and 3 of their back 4 who are injured will be miraculously fit

I agree. That’s not the conspiracy’s I’m seeing posted all about though.

I don't think they're doing it deliberately at all & you are right, the conspiracy theories are crazy, why would they want to be playing 2-3 times every week? Makes no sense.

However...
They are clearly doing something very, very wrong in their protocols.

On Tuesday there were 2 positives from just under 6,000 tests across the whole of the EFL. 70/72 clubs had zero positives.
Days later there's what must be a significant outbreak in their squad if they can't field a team.

Bit weird its only one club who's been affected so much? Are people from Rotherham more susceptible or....

That would really be unfair. Almost certainly would have some teams potentially with nothing to play for, play offs in limbo, relegation in limbo. May have to be international break, but e.g. Brentford would lose players, we lose Ostigard etc etc, yet Rotherham don't have any internationals to the best of my (limited) knowledge. Difficult all round. If Birmingham lose at the weekend, Karanka will implode being 3 points ahead but Rotherham (perhaps by the Tuesday, if Watford is called off) having 5 games in hand!!
