Their team selections need to be watched very closely by the league as they are more likely to put out weaker teams against teams like Watford and stronger ones where they could pick up points it ruins the integrity of the league.
The EFL ? 🤣 not a chance

What can the league realistically do with that. Rotherham could just say its purely tactical.

There’s nothing stopping us doing the same, although cynically you could argue that if they could do it for that game why can’t they do it against us

You mean like when we started Shipley over O'Hare against Blackburn the other week?

Acording to the Rotherham forum after the Sheffield game they had an after match get together and one of their squad went around the whole squad giving it the high five which may explain why they have the outbreak and Sheffield's players wernt effected

That was the manager, Paul Warne FFS!!

Like Rooney did against Cardiff so he could beat us?? that went well didn't it?

Think it’s a problem, apparently we can’t be made to play during the international break Watford game is dodgy too. There will have to be some re-jigging with the Rotherham fixtures looks to me the only gap they have is between April 5th & 10th so they could push the 10th to the 11th and play on the 8th but as I said Watford is a doubt too.
Think it will be april 15th

In some ways the 15th might be better (as Rotherham will have been playing their strongest teams in previous games v beatable opponents. Alternatively the 29th comes straight after they play Brentford away (and may rest players for our game). On the other hand one or both of us may already be safe by then. I'm confused!!

I reckon the football gods will decide whichever team that makes the fuss and tries to be clever about when’s it’s played will lose

The thing is if there's skuldugury going on, whenever it is then we go and beat them as a fully motivated ricoh inspired side by Robins sends them back down as cheats shouldn't prosper. Pusb

April 15th or 29th not bothered we will be well clear of Rotherham and bottom three by then.
Well that's the definitive answer isn't it. When we come to play them, let's be so many points clear that it doesn't matter even if we were to lose the game.

True, Rotherham will know that too, if I was them I’d want to play Cov. asap. I hope Dave Boddy realises that and pushes the fixture as far back as possible.

Would be massively unfair on us that. If we play on the 15th we'll have 4 games in 9 days.
29th looks better.
Barnsley game could be moved until the Sunday , not perfect but slightly better also have to think about the travelling we have Bournemouth away so will want a long journey

Yeah, it would have to be but we'd still be playing 15th, 18th, 21st, 24th.

Assume we will hear today whether their game v watford is on...

That's what I have been watching for today. Again on their forum, nice comments about us, considering their situation

Dont really care what their fans think about our covid IBS, they have had some bleak times in recent years and good luck to them if they manage to get back home to play football.

If I was Rotherham I would play Watford with what ever players I had able to play last thing they need is another
cancellation They are favourites to lose that anyway so get it out the way last thing they need is another fixture crammed in to an already overloaded fixture list.

Agree - although being a home game, I still don't think they'd want to 'throw' a game. Also, if they had x players unavailable for Tuesday, what is the argument for not having taken this approach to our game tomorrow?

Are we expecting the EFL to be looking into Rotherham’s actions ?

They probably won't. Wouldn't want to pressurise clubs during these times I guess?

What's the penalty for not playing a game, is it 3 points to the opposition and you have a further 3 points deducted?

Seriously wtf have they been doing?

Presumably some of these must be unavailable to play 9regardless of how they are feeling?) I know Warne is said to be missing the next two games, due to isolating, but they don't want to give their opponents any advance notice re: potential team selection. Fair enough, and hope their players and staff recover asap.

The more I think about this the more I think that we should try to re-arrange our game with them during the international break. I know it's not ideal and I'm guessing we would have to do without Ostigaard which would be a blow, but whose to say if we have to cram a game in with them on a Thursday night later in the season that by then our squad might be more beset by injuries than is presently the case anyway, while an extra game then could adversely impact us in our games which follow it. Playing a week on Saturday could be the lesser of two evils.

Definitely wish them all the best, no way they've manufactured it like some suggest. Does certainly raise questions over their protocols though when no other club has any cases at all.

If they end up going down Birmingham have dodged a huge bullet.
