He’ll come on for a 5 minute cameo and make one good run behind the Millwall defence, causing SBTers to obsess over him all summer (similar to Giles after his one cross at the end of the L1 season).

Watched him play when he scored his hat trick against Cardiff. He's a nuisance.

Is this your new one to endlessly repeat? He’s been at the club since January, it’s not the end of the world if he doesn’t make his debut...
He’ll get some time off the bench I would think. Walker and Godden won’t be playing so biamou and gyokeres will start

Would like to see Tavares and Reid get some minutes.

Think we're more likely to see Tavares, with Godden and Walker injured. Tavares and Baka will probably come on.

I'm not sure there's anything out of the ordinary here...

Maybe the exclamation mark?

"Coventry City are delighted to announce the signing of Fabio Tavares!

The highly-rated young forward joins the Sky Blues on a permanent transfer from Rochdale for an undisclosed fee.

Fabio has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the Club and will initially be linking up with the Sky Blues’ Development squad.

20-year-old Tavares has made 39 appearances for Rochdale since coming through the ranks at Spotland, making his debut at the start of the 2019/20 and scoring 4 goals.

Tavares also had a loan spell at Curzon Ashton last season.

Manager Mark Robins said:

“We’re very pleased to sign Fabio and welcome him to the Club.

“He is a pacy attacking player with some really promising all-round attributes and has already impressed at first-team level for Rochdale.

“He is a very exciting prospect who we look forward to working with and helping him to continue his development.”

Literally no difference to how we have announced our other development signings, it even says he "will initially be linking up with the Sky Blues’ Development squad." 🤷🏼‍♂️

Two key words prospect and development.

The fact that we are discussing him, and he's got himself on the bench, must show that he's developing and progressing very nicely already.

I see him as end of next season at the earliest. Could be one to loan out. Players often get on bench without any real intention of playing. Just get familiar with matchday experience, watch listen and learn.
