Alright no need to cry about it, just find it a strange opinion to put on a Coventry City fans forum, that a penalty shootout victory against an average at best team and a free kick somehow trumps any if the success we've had in the last few years. Cant fathom it
Well he is/was on the board of the Trust and supports a franchise ice hockey team, he should really be on the insects forum as that would be a better fit.

A freekick in a game we lost at that. Just an awful opinion, how can you call yourself a Cov fan when that trumps all our triumphs.

Thats gotta be a joke surely?
Watching us win the World Cup is the pinochle of my life in terms of sport. That includes playing for my country. What’s the problem with that?

No thanks. Love Rugby but when I’ve got a spare afternoon I watch Coventry’s actual team rather than that lot.

Coventry is something you live .
England is somewhere you live

I don’t see why you can’t live both. I certainly feel like I do anyway.

If that's how you feel fair enough.
"Some people have different priorities in life to you". Shocker!
Fair play to CJ. He follows England all over the world, which no doubt costs a fortune. No wonder he supports England more passionately.
Each to their own.

Thanks to both of you. Love my city and my country and always do what I can to support and represent both. Got my season ticket for my club and ESTC membership for the next year. The times spent using both and spending time with others that are passionate about both/either I treasure.

Me personally I think about city everyday.

I think about England half an hour before kick off

Been to a few England matches and the feeling when the ball hits the net doesn't compare to city
That’s fair enough and there’s nothing wrong with that. In a similar way, every day I think about both and how much I’m missing it all. Can’t wait to get back to normality (living rather than just thinking it) starting next Wednesday and August!

Fair enough everyone has different opinions. And of course you live and breath both. Probably me as i just cannot comprehend England above City. But as i say, thats just me and you spend a shitload of your hard earned on it so fair play

I've got a bad feeling about the tournament as a whole. Players of all sides are going to be knackered, you can qualify from the group by finishing third and it's being played all over the place so no fan atmosphere.

I could see it being won by an outside whose players are non starters at top clubs, got the training, maybe not the quality, and have the legs for it.

Awful place. There aren’t many plus points for it and plenty of negatives against it in comparison with other stadia. In normal circumstances I don’t want a home tournament. This time it’s different though. Will take anything!

Meh, we made a good racket but we’ve seemed louder with a couple of thousand at somewhere like Notts County or Barnsley. Would’ve preferred them to take place at Old Trafford.

Have heard home matches for England can be very dull and touristy. Would love to go to an away one though. The 3-2 at Germany would’ve been good.

I don’t miss many away games for City and see CJ at pretty much all of them, his support for CCFC certainly isn’t in question.

I reckon Italy could end up being dark horses.

Gareth going to leave trent out of the squad according to some outlets on twatface .

He's decent enough but we're really strong there at the moment. James is ahead of him and the likes of Walker too who can double up at RCB. Then he's competing with the likes of Trippier and Wan Bissaka. One of those you'd be worried about defensively against the better teams.

Not a fan of Gareth leaving TAA out if the reports are true. He can be your best offensive player when he's on form, which he has been since March.

I'm assuming he's mitigating against the chance Harry Maguire might break down or something and we need an extra player who can fill in at CB.

I just think if this was any other country he'd be nailed on to be on the plane. He's the best in the country.
