Would it be absolutely absurd if We started to play Kelly at CB as I think he would be good as a ball playing CB if he practices heading

I wouldnt mind going into next season with a team like this
Baker - Perm
Walton - loan with option to buy
Gilmour - loan
Gyokeres - Loan with option to sign
Opoku - Loan (just thought maybe a bit of a gamble could be alright a LB who played for Plymouth last season on loan from Fulham)
That would be a strong team ,also pask could be a regular starter next season.

I doubt that its better than the current team as the 11 are better the bench players will have a bigger impact as they are better

B.Wilson
J.Burroughs
M.Rose
L.Kelly
J.Eccles
W.Bapaga
F.Tavares
T.Walker
M.Godden

I doubt it massively.

Defence would concede more than this years.

And zero goals in that. Honestly if we lined up like that in August id have £50 on us going down.

Game of opinions though of course 🤷‍♂️

When rose played last season he seemed the most error prone despite the previous season was standout CH ,it was a lower level.

I think fully fit we have a good squad and our best eleven which we finished the season with can stand toe to toe with any team in the division. Robins will be adding new talent and I’m confident they will be better players than we currently have and the team will improve he has built 3 squads year on year all proved to be an improvement on what we had I see no reason why this can’t happen again.

When our options were scarce at centre back last season, Robins was reluctant to use him. Needs a big pre season especially in last year of his contract

Not entirely Coventry related. Maddison might be going to arsenal, do we still pick up a % of what Norwich receive?
I.e if he goes to Arsenal for e.g £30 mil, Norwich get 15% - 4.5 million. Do we go on to pick up 15% off that?

Arsenal struggled to raise funds for Buendia, would see that as a non starter unless he wants the move

In the event of a move though I thought it was a small percentage but @stupot07 said it was more than that

not sure of the percentage but Yep thats my understanding of the deal we struck with Norwich.

would have thought he would cost a lot more than 30 million

I would say so, yeah, will be changing hands for around 80 million? Should be a nice little boost to the finances.

I think Norwich would get 15% of the profit rather than the full transfer fee. So if they sold him for £25m to Leicester. Leicester then sold him to Arsenal for £30m, Norwich would get 15% of the £5m profit - so £750k. We may then be entitled to 15% of that £750k.
