My predictions bang on again. I predicted we would play everyone in the league twice, once home and once away.
Take her out for a meal - burger and a pint of Purity should do the trick at half time.I was selfishly hoping the first game would be away, as it’s a massive dilemma now - it’s my partners birthday that weekend - and it’s a big one - not sure how/if I can get away with going to the game.
But it’s the first game of the season, post covid and post St Andrew’s…..
Bag of starbursts for pudding if it’s a big birthday.Take her out for a meal - burger and a pint of Purity should do the trick at half time.

Do what I’ve done and brainwash her into asking for a season ticket
This is why you’re so desperate for the wedding to happen isn’t it - if it is after the start of the season and she realises how shite it is being a Cov fan there’s no way it’d be going ahead!
They have 5 other than the usual easter and Xmas games. Hardly loadsI notice from the Blackpool forum that a lot of their home games are midweek fixtures, which their fans think have been influenced by police not wanting large away followings turning up for weekends.
Is that a possibility?have a lovely week in Blackpool
Should be able to see if she is a keeper or notI was selfishly hoping the first game would be away, as it’s a massive dilemma now - it’s my partners birthday that weekend - and it’s a big one - not sure how/if I can get away with going to the game.

We'll be signing her up, if so!Should be able to see if she is a keeper or not
I have doubts away fans will be allowed at firstGonna miss Blackpool away again as in Cornwall, never been still!
Don't see why not. Restrictions lift and there's no reason not toI have doubts away fans will be allowed at first

Remember the last time we played Forest first game of the season - was a bit of a disaster
yes i do! all that pre season hope pissed on by a 0.3 defeat in a packed sunny HR
Kevin Campbell doing the damage.
I was as flat as a witches tit after that game.
The back end of the campaign looks really tough. Hopefully we will be safe by then.Tough end of season with those April fixtures.
15 unbeaten are you insaneIf we can go through the first 15 games unbeaten, I an quietly confident we will stay up again. When you look at those fixtures you realise what a tough league this is though. I was hoping we might play Blackpool after they had been beaten up a bit by others though. Early doors they will still be a bit more full of themselves.

our game has been moved back to Friday nightWasps fixtures are out and their first home game is Saturday 25th September and is scheduled to be televised by BT Sport.
That's the same time as our game against Peterborough so we'll see if we really have primacy as was said to be part of the agreement.
Find it hard to believe that the EFL and RFU can't get fixtures compiled without clashes. Even if the EFL won't give them a heads up, which seems odd given how many other authorities must be involved in putting the fixtures together, its been a month since our fixtures came out, surely they could have resolved the issue before publishing Wasps fixtures.
