I don’t know who I’d give MoM to- Shaw, Walker, Maguire, Sterling, Kane- there were some immense performances tonight

They were all outstanding - Schmeichel was immense for Denmark

Just feel he's been a bit sloppy throuout other games. But, hey. That's in the past. Absolutely immense tonight and deserves the plaudits for it.

Edit: in hindsight it's probably harsh to say most of the tournament. Getting carried away in it all!

His pace has been vital in covering for slower CB’s and has made the back line even more solid.

I don't really agree with that. There's a massive difference between how he has played in this tournament and how he has been for England generally in the past.

I would rather focus on the now and present where he has been fantastic though, total mark up in my opinion at least.

As I said in my last post, there are a handful of players who I think have made themselves almost undroppable based on performances this tournament. We should be very proud.

I think the big difference is they were made to chase the ball against a good footballing side .

The pace the 2 teams were going at upto extra time was frightening

Italy are a very fit , organised side who attack with pace , they will chase us down all match .

We have to get it right , and they've had the extra days rest
