It's true. They've done great this tournament, but only wins count as success. Got to try again in 18 months time.

We sat too deep, brough it on ourselves. We've got players who can hurt teams but they're no good sat on the edge of our 18 yard box. Just way too conservative. If we'd have got a second goal it would've killed the game.

If we’d gone for the second and conceded on the counter what do you think would have happened then? The tactics sound and has got us here and city promoted

Southgate deserves a lot of credit for the way england have progressed over the last few years BUT he should be rightly criticised for the late substitutions and choice of penalty takers. The last three never looked like scoring.
