If we are at the top or around abouts and are winning stacks of games the attendances will rise and the club will receive more income as a result.

Poor results will result in lower attendances and the club losing more money.

The right managerial appointment could make all that difference. What you lose in manager wages you would gain in attendances etc. Winning near the top would also mean more tv coverage too.
