I nearly said he’s playing the Beckenbauer role on the match thread. Great performance aided by the space in front of him but superb vision and versatility with the odd tackle thrown in.

Sheaf has improved massively since last season, and so has Allen, fair play to them, they've obviously worked Incredibly hard to get to the level that we are now seeing, Allen particularly has gone from bomb squad to valuable first team squad, and won the fans back which is great to see.
Its great to see Godden back in action, he and Gyokeres would be a potent strike force.

He was superb, and was still looking to create when he was moved back. I really wouldn't fancy playing him at centre back again, mind you- it did look slightly fragile! Thankfully Reading were weak enough he could still move into midfield and create.
Driving force in midfield, though, and helped by the fact he seems to have the confidence / been instructed to look more progressive, be more positive than last season.

Getting there. Think he has more in the locker. But all the players are loving playing in front of the SBA.
