Swansea's right back (on loan from Man U) looks decent. Mind you, Bristol City have the slowest forward line I've seen in this league, in Martin and Weimann. Massengo and james have played well, and their young lad Scott. Bristol haven't pressed Swansea properly (due to their forwards lack of pace). O'Hare would love it against their passing from the back.

Hughton is a decent manager , took a couple of financially stable clubs up to the prem .. hes also steady without money I'd say .

But he's not done a good job at forest...so far atleast

When you look at the clubs they've managed and the financial power of them , which managers win % is more impressive though ..

It's easily Robins

it’s kind of why these stats are a moot point. Managing Coventry in league two vs Brighton in the premier league?

Yea true , but he was backed well at Brighton, he oversaw 155 million worth of transfers there .

A further 12 million at Newcastle in the championship

And 37 million at Norwich and basically took them down

Welsh taunting English over Euros final.

when we went there in the cup in 03 (I think) they had flags waving right in front of us trying to wind everyone up, but it wasn’t the Wales flag, it was the flag of St David, yellow & black, so nobody actually knew what it was. Tasty atmosphere down there that day.

Yeh, remember it, we drew there, won the replay, 3-0, I think. Walking to the ground with my wife, there were kids behind us, one of whom says (imagine Welsh accent!) ‘ I can smell the fucking English…’😂

Matty James just controlled a 50 yard hoof from the goalkeeper, was so sexy the way he brought the ball down from out of the sky. God I miss him
You can fawn over him when we smash the side he chose to join over us.

Nigel Pearson teams are shite. He made his bed.

Remember it well. Holdsworth scored a banger and Lee Fowler also got his only goal for the club that night.

Wales as a whole rather than Swansea!

You didn't have to walk home among them...

Had a few drinks with a colleague who's Sri Lankan in heritage last night and he said he used to go to a few Norwich games with mates, did Swansea away and everywhere he went afterwards someone made a comment about his skin colour.

Adding Swansea to the 'fuck that lot' list

Went on the Bristol City forum and couldn't believe how positive they were after that result last night. Pearson's home record W 0 D 2 L 7 !

I've had a look on there recently and they're in some delusion that his dreadful record is a trade off for undertaking a comprehensive rebuild (he's signed a load of 30+ players who've played for him previously). It's difficult to see them not being in a relegation battle, they only weren't last season on account of a reasonable start.

They have some decent players in midfield, but the forwards (Weimann and Martin) are really slow. Their 2 full backs are are awful/old too. Definitely bottom half, and if Matty James gets injured (or they have anything like the injury issues of last season) they could be in trouble.

Neither Swansea or Bristol showed any quality last night and the atmosphere was almost dead.

Watching Barnsley take QPR apart today and it's the same. Barnsley showing their pressing method strongly and QPR have little to nothing to compete, requiring 2 tactical substitutions after 35mins. Seeing some of these teams so far (I know it's still early), while I think Cov will be delighted to get into the top half of the table, we won't have as much of a struggle as some anticipated.

Agreed QPR took 2 off after 35mins George Thomas being one.

QPR are a proper 'You score 3, we'll score 4 team'. Lots of attacking talent, but a shoddy defence with Dickie the only one I'd have in a Cov shirt.
