Take the point, I do think Godden is the better overall player though.

IMO Walker will play at a higher level consistently throughout his career - Godden has spent the majority of his in LG 1 and LG 2.

If we drop one of them after he’s got 2 in 2, we’re unlikely to ever get the best out of him. It should have been up to Godden to win his place back, he’s not good enough to warrant walking straight back into the side.

Maybe, maybe not- but if Robins is essentially saying that he rates Godden higher than Walker & if both are fit then Godden starts then I would agree with him. Tough on Walker but that’s how it goes ultimately.

It was a little unnerving when I saw Walker was benched. But, and nothing against Walker here… Godden offers more than him.

His movement is better without a doubt but he’s also smarter and quicker thinking. He has 5 years on Walker and it shows. I still like Walker though and think he’ll still play a big part in our season.

Godden isn’t different class to Walker and Walker got 2 in 2and was dropped; it’s poor man management and is demotivating. Oh, and a disallowed goal hahaha.

Godden missed out cause he was banned and got a hat Rick in the u23 fixture. I think it was fine for him to play. Like I said before Walker got 25 mins. That’s when you say don’t bench me again by getting the winner
