I always try to keep off these threads but it sounds like he needs a personal trainer in.

Someone to run him ragged to get nearer to the required fitness levels.

Funny in the four and a bit seasons Robins has been here and signed a lot of players most very successful we have had almost one a year scratching our heads as to why what’s gone wrong there first we had Abu Ogogo, top signing or so we thought at the time, watched his first game and rubbed my hands thinking we have a player here but flopped big time, then to a lesser extent JCH, still not a bad player but jettisoned out pretty quick when we possibly could have done with him at the time and then Gervane Kasteneer looked a decent player to start with but after THAT tackle at Pompey zilch and must have occupied more thread time than anyone until Bright turned up. Just shows I suppose how tricky the recruitment market can be.

Prior to Robins it was more than one a season!
The Ogogo one was strange. Looked to be exactly the type of player we needed and just never worked.

Same for junior brown. I guess neither had recovered from their injuries. Whereas, Liam Kelly had suffered equally as bad an injury and he has probably had his best spell of his career here

I wonder if most of these players have a similar level and the only difference is consistency and belief and the gift Robins is is to get players playing at 90% of their best regularly whereas most players normally perform at about 75%

I don't know why but I don't just think it was totally about form with him .
It may have been around the financial structure of his deal or simply fitting into the dressing room, but I would have suspected the former.
No transfer fee but a signing on fee then speculating here but a performance salary that threatened ffp/scmp.
