It's off
Still be more than W***s get
Spurs will plenty of tickets back on sale. Clearly many people do not want to go to the football at the moment.
Even if the two home fixtures go ahead next week, the drop in revenue will be huge. We could lose 10,000 fans across two games.
Two games that could have been big crowds.
It was in the US so won't be accurate for here, and pre Omicron, but read an article in Billboard recently that on average 40% of ticket holders are no showing at concerts.Becoming evident people are backing off shows, eating out & sporting not prepared to take risks. going to be another Christmas by the fire I reckon.
Milwall sales shocking. Think we should stop for a couple of weeks
It’s such a dereliction of duty to not stop and restart
Yer, doesn't bode well for the 29th

This is where it gets silly, assuming milwall is off we now have three extra games to fit in despite having no cases.
Will be midweek too so less walk up and reduced income (milwall was already midweek but it’s Xmas).
Keep coming back to the same debate but if the league is carrying on then teams need to supplement missing players with u21/development squads.

Really?? It’s a huge mess and would be much better to agree a processDont see why it is tbh
It's 6 days until the Millwall game. Meaning if players tested positive they should be out of isolation after 7 days.
Excuses running out for these teams.
There is one apparently.Really?? It’s a huge mess and would be much better to agree a process
There is one apparently.
14 players with a keeper and the game should be on.
Are clubs not following protocols now?
I’d be amazed if these teams genuinely don’t have 14 players fit.
Sorry a process for a delay in the season. There is one apparently.

Just had this thought - might it already be better to get knocked out of the FA Cup as early as possible/ (never thought I'd even entertain that idea) - on one hand need the prize money, on the other hand, don't want the extra fixtures. Damned if you do, damned if you don't)
Agreed - we might have to let our league position suffer slightly for financial gain through prize money. Tough call, and potential firther drop in attendances if league for suffers (assuming crowds don't slump anyway?!!) Need a crystal ball.Only if you could guarantee promotion instead. You can't do that though so we should therefore take the FA Cup seriously, progress as far as we can in it, and hope the club can make some good money that might make MR's job a little easier down the line.
We should have all players available to train on Monday , today was last day of training , the players have the next 3 days off , so unless we have a huge amount on Monday report with positive tests , which could happen , we should be okay . Millwall appear to have 2 groups of players being positive so it depends how that developsNo one knows if we have no cases - I’m sure we do
