When they leave we can start the fuck the wasps chant again, or maybe when they do us over again…Cannot see Wasps being at the Ricoh beyond the end of next season ( May 2023)
There business model is not sustainable.

how do they off load their near 250 year lease?
Its worth £70 million
Would anyone pay that for it?
The business that owns a 250 year lease is going nowhere
Genuine question here G, could the business continue to own the lease, but Wasps Rugby either disappear or disappear back down south somewhere!?? Or would that further increase liabilities, eg, another ground rental costs etc.... and hence be not realistic???The business that owns a 250 year lease is going nowhere
Ever heard about leases being sold on.
I agree their business model is unsustainable. However so is the business model of bucket loads of other high level sports teams (or companies if you prefer looking at them this way).Cannot see Wasps being at the Ricoh beyond the end of next season ( May 2023)

Is there a likelyhood Richardson could go into partnership with SISU as a silent investor - when the negotiations were happening it was insinuated in the media that him and Sepalla got onYes it could and I’d see no reason why Richardson - a property developer - would surrender a lease that doesn’t lose money without the rugby club especially as it has a championship football club which itself can now pay for any monthly fees for refinancing
I get on quite well with the night time manager of the Shell petrol station. Just finishing off my bid for Royal Dutch Shell. Is there a likelyhood Richardson could go into partnership with SISU as a silent investor - when the negotiations were happening it was insinuated in the media that him and Sepalla got on
