O’Hare (13 Viewers)

He's created countless chances this season that have been missed.. If as a team we were even a little bit more lethal with our finishing he'd be up there with the top assisters in the league. Interesting that unbiased opposition fans rave about him.. including Boro fans today whilst our fountains of football knowledge call his performance"shocking". Embarrassing.

Here it is again. The biggest myth that is spouted about on here to justify O’Hare’s lack of goal contributions.

“hE cREatEs LoaDs oF cHaNceS”

It’s bollocks. He’s actually outperforming his expected assists.

Another one who will hammer O'Hare for this but everyone else gets away with a lack of goals and assists.

Thing is
He's missed those chances all season and last, not just the last couple of games.

Missed an easy chance today by hitting it at the keeper (better than Shipley's abomination though).
Shipley is our highest scoring midfielder since Carl Baker in 2009.
He has 20 goals compared to Kelly 3 and Hyam 6 all played about the same amount of games.
Even my all time Favourite Tommy Hutch only had 30 in double the amount of games.
He missed today but so did every shot we had.
And yes his chance today should at least have been on target.
Not saying he is a great player or that he played well today, but he does seem to be the scapegoat when we lose.

We are where we are because we cant score really havent seen us play poorly this season.

I bet Allen don’t give the ball away as luck as o’hare

Thats oddly because he doesn’t make as many passes - Allen other than one season at Burton has a goal scoring record of one a season - he’s an ok back up midfielder at this level but that’s it

I honestly don’t think he played too bad today (I’m not the one who bumped this thread), but it’s ridiculous the lengths some people go to defend him.

Forgive me, but I don’t want an attacking mid whose only attributes are drawing fouls and running around like a headless chicken. I’d like one that can create chances and score goals.

We'd all like one but we can't afford one.

In an ideal world O'Hare would play alongside a more efficient midfielder.

Oh right, so the rest of the midfield shouldn't be contributing either?

its not even as if O Hare plays As a number 10 anyway - he’s an advanced midfielder but also does a lot of pressing forward and assisting deeper

I think the fact we extended him shows we have zero funds or even are able to bring
Anyone else in

Who is everyone else?
Even Shipley has matched O'hare's goal tally!

The whole midfield.

Once again, we can all criticise O'Hare's lack of goals and slightly fewer assists than we'd want but the rest are getting off lightly.

Ben Sheaf went one on one today and fluffed it.

He's not scored a single goal at this level.

And yes, I know he's a central defensive midfielder.

Sheaf is a CDM his job is to break up play and dictate play not break between the lines scoring goals

Allen was on his way out O’Hare is lauded as the best thing since slice bread,I’ve never brought into it

I think most just think O'Hare is a good player. Most opposition fans call him out as being one of our better players.

The whole midfield is lacking in goals and assists.

He’s got potential but he’s 24 nearly not 18 I don’t think teams are that worried by him mate I’ve never see anyone double up on him etc

He does a brilliant job at that but he should still get aim for couple goals a season.
I’m sure he will mate he’s been great lately I think it was Grendel who was calling for him to have a run of games, seems he was right

O’Hare won’t play premier league football any time soon if ever, probably why nobody will come in for him any time soon

@Grendel nobody can knock Liam Kelly for what he’s done for this club he will still play a big part yet I can see him being extended end of season also

You thought Maddison wasn’t gonna make it at the top level but think O’Hare is great

you also think Kenny jacket is a better manager than robins

😉
Maddison again - I’d imagine you’d have preferred Bigi if you were posting on here at the time - well under this ID
