Perhaps our ground is too big for us despite the attendance being more than double your capacity and you didn't sell out your allocation.

We're not effin shit, you had lucky breaks and we didn't take our chances.

Our City isnt a shithole (well not all of it).

Yes you probably will go up, well done with your £200m team, you probably should.

You're a shitty tinpot club who will get relegated again next season and when the foreign investment disappears you'll find your natural place down the pyramid.

Me bitter? Nah 😉

They’re a club all but guaranteed a return to the top-flight after todays result. Not having that their fans were good considering. They were utterly shite. Tinpot.

Can you imagine City fans if the boot was on the other foot? I’d be embarrassed if that was all we could muster, numbers and noise.

They were alright tbh. Far louder than the likes of Birmingham and Bristol City.

Like others have said though, they genuinely thought they were our big game/day out. One of the biggest followings they've taken in years at this level.

You could also tell they all shop at Waitrose.

They may have their club rolled by Russian oil and be in the PL next season but I wouldn't swap places.

Funny how much we "despise" Sunderland for referring to everyone who doesn't get 30000 every home game as "tinpot".

Yet one decent season in the championship and we're all at it...

Tbf, I'd agree against majority of others at this level but we are talking about Bournemouth.

Not a high bar that is, being better than the blues.

If i had to watch 90 minutes of an orc hurling the ball in from the half way line every time they get a throw I'd be pretty quiet.

In what way, because it's by the sea?
The place didn't exist until the later stages of the 18th century, it has no history, no heritage, no buildings to speak of that have much architectural interest.
Give me Coventry with all its grime ugliness and social issues any day.

It's not even that nice

I just meant it’s quite nice isn’t it? Yes, the sea helps!

Bournemouth is alright. Better than Poole which is no big feat. Poole has to be one of the biggest shitholes I’ve ever seen.

They can play a bit of football, but as soon as the grapes go sour players will leave manger gets sacked ( not that he's much good anyway) and bye bye carrot crunchers. Fuck off you wankers.

they were shite fans and you need to be a spice addict to cope with living there
It's better than living in whichever provisional stronghold of Derry/ Belfast you live in.

And you wouldn't have got 2 tone out of Bournemouth either.

My sister and niece were down from Cheshire and got them to come to the game, and they loved it…..will definitely be back 👍
Good. I was being a little facetious in the 'after the lord mayors parade' scheme of things.
But tell them to stick with us cos there will be better days to come after today's (second half) performance.
PUSB.

I thought the only reason they seemed louder was because our support was very quiet today. Obviously not helpful conceding so early and we never looked like scoring second half.

Coventry is my home town. Its an absolute shite hole and what the Luftwaffe didn't get the local planners did after 1945. It's better than in the 1970s but is full of half baked projects that just don't join up. Nice high rise student accomodation though.

Coventry 2022 is quite a vibrant forward thinking city with an exciting future. It's far, far better than lots of places
Cov 2022, the city of Potholes and Temporary Traffic Lights.

Definitely, the assembly gardens returning is a bonus too

Cracking little spot. Needs to be a regular thing after city of culture. Probably not feasible for the whole summer but maybe for 4 weeks a year.
Had a really good program of events last year, had some cracking days/evenings down there.

O idea initially made money or was subsidised which I'd imagine would be a major factor in it happening.

Exactly what a tinpot team deserves. A tinpot post.
