Agreed but you're allowed some leeway when you're an 18 goal striker at this level.

Absolutely. We were on the attack and Kane was where he should have been, we lost the ball and got hit on the counter. If you're going to be critical, Hyam has played the ball forward wide to Kane, then continued his run into the box leaving the right centre back position with a big gaping hole which is where the attacked comes from. Also Kelly and Allen as the DCM should be plugging that.

It was a poor ball inside from Kane I thought, just felt it was obvious what was going to happen but then again it was the edge of the opposition box. Who actually tracked back?

It came from hyam nicking the ball off their striker, a good interception, out to kane who played it back to o hare who tried to Meg their defender. All of a sudden they are 50 yards of space. I have no idea where Kelly or Allen were, kane was out of position from the attacking move. Ultimately we had 3 players to marked their striker and no one ran out to their AM

Allen goes out to fill the gap left by Kane/Hyam & close down the crosser, no idea where Kelly was.
A lot of good fortune for them too, JCS slips as he attempts to close it down & it's only nestled perfectly in the corner as a result of a mishit shot.

While I definitely agree we need upgrades at CB, it always feels like it’s the wasteful attacking play has been the bigger issue this season.
