Musonda seems like a pretty decent guess, although he has ‘2 cup appearances and released in the summer’ written all over him with his appearance record. Would hope that we were looking to bring in someone with a bit more pedigree.

You always want to be cautious in what you say in case he plays 46 games and scores 20 goals, making you look like an idiot. However, I have to be honest, and I cannot get my head around this at all. Seems like a totally stupid and naive move considering he is 25 and played 30ish games in his entire career, with one goal to his name during that time.

With a tight budget and some damning lessons from previous transfer activity, this does seem crazy.

I really can't see it being Musonda

People will scoff but in hindsight, either Baka or Max would've been better options (financially and output wise) than Waghorn.

Not sure about the terrifying bit though.

😂😂😂😂

Absolutely not, I don't think people give waghorn enough credit for his role pre getting covid, once he came back it's obvious something had gone on with him but as both max and Baka showed last season they are no where near championship quality, max couldn't even play and score in a pub league

There's the scoff.

I'm not getting into this debate of whether Max was "good enough" for the championship, he clearly wasnt to be a regular in a progressing team. But point of order.........

Max played 30+ games and scored 5 goals in his first effort in the Championship.
Waghorn played 27 and scored 1 in his last effort in the Championship.

So as I stated, in hindsight both financially and output-ally a better option.

Max did a job whilst here, thought he was quite useful to chuck on and hope he'd do something mad. Was always just a backup/plan D player so no big loss once we got to the Champ.

Waghorn has been disappointing but may come good if given the opportunity. He certainly did ok at the start of the season

Apart from the fact we wouldn't have had as good a start this season without waghorn in the team of course as anyone who actually watched those games will have seen what a difference he made, especially to gykos game but we will ignore that as he wasn't very good when he came back from covid

Meanwhile max hardly played in a pub league

Your opinion isn't a fact. We can't say for a fact that Vic's game is better with Waghorn in the team. There's no evidence to suggest that.

Anyway let's not hijack the thread.

Well the results prove otherwise and to compare biamou and waghorn is pretty ridiculous
