He complains about Armed Forces Veterans Day yet his government cancelled it last summer and the one before, even despite very few covid restrictions at those times.
They’ve also cancelled over £7B in defence spending since coming into power meaning that the armed forces is now smaller than its been in centuries. I think you have to go back to the 1700’s. Further cuts in numbers are still planned also.

The #cheerskier that the Tories have tried to get trending on social media blaming Starmer for the strikes is spectacularly backfiring too

People are running with it and the only thing that Starmer isn’t getting blamed for is the strikes. Stubbed toes, lost keys, the weather etc etc all Starmers fault.

Starting to get some faith back that the British public aren’t as stupid as the Tory party think they are.

Just listening on the radio and apparently the effects of the strike have been dissipated because the country is now used to WFH so it’s not going to be as damaging for the country as Tories are trying to scare everyone into believing that it will be.

WFH to the rescue again.

Anyone who knocks that braying c**t Gullis down a peg or two is alright in my book.

So you wanted Starmer and now you want the illegitimate love child of Bob Crowe - I don’t think he’d take the pay cut

Whats yours? I assume it’s pub related as you said you used to deal with that dickhead who slagged Jodie Jones off when he worked at Marstons brewery?

I was just listening to the radio and some fella who wrote a book called derailed was on and he's aid 50 billion had been taken out of the railways by private companies and investors since privatisation. Scandalous if true.

Which just proves that that wet lettuce Keith can sit on his hands as much as he likes and they'll still try and attack him. He should try sticking his head above the paraphet now and again.

To be honest Keith from the Office had more to say during his performance management interview

Gullis says he's been an NASUWT rep in the past but yet a) chose to become a Tory MP and b) apparently has no idea how unions work. Then of course segues into calling Lynch a Marxist waste of space

Your point being you've made something up

Not sure what I’ve made up ? I’m suggesting that I think the strikers are more concerned about their pay (which is their right and totally understandable especially at the moment) than about a better rail infrastructure and service for the public and that’s the main reason why they’re striking.

Based on what?
I think it's fare to say this government has scant regard for public safety.

Yeah, profits privatised, losses nationalised.
Embarrassing that people stand for it.
Think it was £8B in covid bailouts alone. So the UK taxpayer’s basically bailed out rail companies owned by EU government’s meaning they still made profit. In stark contrast private rail companies in the EU widely made losses. Another case of socialism not being for the plebs.

Johnson and his government have dragged this country into the gutter. What a fucking mess.

Giving Dacre a peerage for dropping a story about his corruption.

They will win Wakefield very easily and that’s enough to show “parties don’t matter eh lads” the fact it’s been a labour seat every single time other than 2019 doesn’t matter of course

Labour should be 15 to 20 points ahead. They could form a government even if they dug out Blair and Brown - Starmer is a disaster
Wonder why

What conviction has he got, apart from being terrified of a negative headline.
I’m talking about someone standing as an mp and for the leadership of his party. You think he does that without conviction?? He may not be doing a good job but to say he has no conviction is banal. And I’d still take no conviction over the conviction to lie cheat and defraud

lol he’s just a bland salesman who wants the top Job and will say and do anything to get it - he’s got zero belief in anything and is a classic snob - he doesn’t give a fuck about you or anyone else
