Oh right so out of £35m how many bonds do you think they hold and when did they buy them if you look back at the trades?
How would I know? Just pointing out that they have a history of challenging refinancing of a company that they a financial interest in through the courts. It’s not beyond the realms of possibility that they were snapping up bonds when they were dirt cheap as was suggested and potentially it could put them in a position where they can revert to type and pursue action in the courts as an interested party, having purchased bonds. I’m not saying that they have, I really wouldn’t know one way or the other. But it’s certainly not beyond the realms of possibilities.

Good lord! Conspiracy theorist.

It would make more sense for WASP acolytes to buy them

Hardly any bonds were sold after the initial purchase surely?

This is a PR nightmare for Wasps. Why on earth are they remaining silent through it all. They're beginning to make SISU at their worst look not half bad.

The pressure to stem the massive losses next season grows by the minute if they don't pull it off any lenders if any will want top dollar for other loans.

The end game may be slow but it must be getting ever closer.

Whenever you catch yourself feeling sorry for them remember the glee they took when in command, remember "enjoy Birmingham", remember when we were all distraught they had no sympathy but 'blame your owners", remember the twats that have posted on here, remember when they disrespected our legends wall and memorial garden, remember being told to "keep paying the rent".

Fuck them

It’s going be to a wild party outside the ground when they eventually go under.

And the prick that jumped onto Jimmy hills statue and put a wasps hat and scarf on him.

Smart move designed to get the Coventry public on side… not.

Bet the free loader doesn’t go anymore.

No chance . To me, SISU alienated their fans, sorry, the Club’s fans, far more people were affected by their actions.

    Wasps structure is thus:

Wasps Holding is the top co. It is owned off shore by a Maltese company ultimately controlled by Derek Richardson.

WH owns three companies: Wasps Finance, Arena Coventry Ltd, IEC Experience mangement.

ACL is the management company of the area, it posses the 250 year lease on the arena land.
IEC is the company which runs the hospitality at the arena.
Wasps Finance has issued the bond.

The bond is secured on all of Wasps holdings assets, specifically including the lease on the land & the Premiership P share (now called "invested units"). Wasps Holdings has a sub lease of 50 years from ACL.

They do also own their training ground in Henley in Arden that is not chicken feed, probably a few million I would think.

All previous instances of a team going into administration in the Premiership has seen them kicked out of the whole league. While that was, is and remains a hugely disproportionate response I would think Richmond & London Scottish would be interested if it wasn't applied this time.

A possibility is that the rent on Wasps & CCFC leases is enough to find a passive investment fund to buy the arena to play the long game. While it's not a great option (for anyone) it has to be on the cards.

Don't worry LG, I'm fairly sure that if they do go tits up, Germany will register about a Richter 5.0 from the magnitude of schadenfreude felt by us...

In no way am I sticking up for SISU but they didn't take the fan's money and then stay quiet when the time to repay came. Anyway, it's not about SISU here it's about the eventual death of those stripey bstards. Hopefully.

They took the fan’s shares. Or at least they told Joe Elliott to tell the fans to give over their shares.

Then they ran the club as they did communicating little.
