Fuck all. Which is exactly why he is still here.

6 months after he was 'top scorer' he was sent on loan. Hardly a ringing endorsement.
I don't we would get anything at present. Do you?

Well at the moment we can’t persuade anyone to take him on loan never mind pay a fee. So at the moment it’s looking a flop-but he’s got one last crack at it this season and with our finances let’s hope he finds some form.

Lots of loans happen very late in the transfer window season will be a month old come September 1st wouldn’t be surprised to see him or Waghorn or both go out on loan by then.

He was literally on loan last year

The bitterness towards Walker is very strange. He’s generally performed pretty well whenever we’ve called on him. If all it takes to turn on a player is one bad loan spell at Portsmouth, maybe we shouldn’t be using the loan system at all in future.

He was getting stick before the Portsmouth loan too.
Really hope he kicks on this season if he stays

There isn’t any bitterness from me-I’ve said time and again I like him as a player and that he’s a confidence player who hasn’t got any. But it’s also important to be honest about the year he’s just had.

Dubbing him a flop comes across as bitter to me. I think he can be an asset to us this season.

I’ve also said the same in the last few months. But ‘flop’ isn’t personal against the player, it’s just an honest reflection of a signing that hasn’t worked out so far. Go back through last season and I defend him far more often than I criticise.

Now at Kings Lynn after a prolific season at Barwell. According to Wikipedia anyway

Yeah, just joined them along with Ponticelli.

Very talented boy but with a terrible attitude hence knocking about in Step 3 again until now. Be interesting to see if the penny finally drops & he starts living up to the promise, have my doubts.

Can’t remember all the details but don’t think the club were impressed with how he/his agent handled his trial here

Kevin Keegan - we even gave him a trial. Then we realised he was just too small to make it as a striker and what we needed was a lanky target man 😉

He was loaned out to Portsmouth to see if they could get a tune out of him after we tried and failed.
Seems they couldn't motivate the idle c**t either.
I'm hearing he's been training hard in the pre season so it remains to be seen if he can resurrect a career that once looked promising.

Adam Le Fondre when he was at Rotherham was a long saga, we ended up with Cody McDonald. At least one previous poster was pleased with the outcome

From memory that was entirely Dulieu's fault - unsurprisingly.

Le Fondre was keen to come here but Dulieu thought if he left it to the very last second he'd be able to get him on a cut price deal.

Shockingly Reading swooped in and we had to opt for McDonald instead
